Weaning Time (Stage 1)

Assalamualaikum and Hi,

Today's post is about weaning..I've started to wean Adam when he was 5 and a half months old..He really enjoys eating..except when he had a fever 2 weeks ago, dia makan sikit je but still makan..:-)..

Adam sangat senang terima semua makanan yg mummy introduced kat dia..Memudahkan mummy yg sentiasa nak cepat..:-)..

Sedikit sejarah pemakanan Adam:

Dari hari pertama, apabila midwife letak dia atas dada mummy beberapa saat selepas dilahirkan, dia terus boleh 'latch on' dgn betul and menyusu..That was a very magical and memorable moment in my life.:-).

He demanded milk every one hour and this caused mummy to not have enough sleep. I lost a lot of blood when delivering him and this really made me feel like zombie..hehe..so he was fully breastfed for 1 month..I was impressed that he gained from 3.21kg to 5.38kg after 1 month giving him my liquid gold.:-).

Then I introduced formula milk to him after having mixed feeling about this (as I intended to fully breastfeed him until 6 months old). That was a few weeks before I started my study and I was not strong enough to feed him every one hour. I need enough rest before I started going to the university. With mixed feeling, I searched about all the formula milk brands available in the UK and decided to choose the best one i.e. Aptamil. I was afraid that he wont accept the formula milk after being breastfed since birth but alhamdulillah, he accepted the formula milk well..:-)..He is not a fussy baby I must say..

Then at 5.5 months old, I started to wean him. Alhamdulillah, he loves to eat!..he shows his interest in every food I gave him..:-)..

I started by buying a book and a weaning set by Annabel Karmel, a child nutrition expert in the UK. This book helps me a lot in preparing foods for Adam..it has recipes and charts on what to give to your baby from the very first time you wean him. Although the charts are just a suggestion by Annabel, but it is very helpful for a first time mum like me. I did modify some of the ingredients a little bit depending on what I have in the fridge...haha..

I also bought a Beaba Babycook...This is really a godsend for me...:-)..It can be used as a steamer to steam the fruits/vegetables/meats to make them tender. It can blend the steamed food into puree. We have full control of the consistency of the puree. For stage 2 weaning, just blend the food for just a short time. It also has the function to reheat and defrost food..I can prepare 3 different foods in 2 hours with the help of this machine..:-)..

So far I have made various kinds of food for him..Carrot puree, apple puree, pear puree, sweet potato puree, banana puree, butternut squash+carrot+potato puree and broccoli+cauliflower+carrot puree...All of them except the banana puree were made in big batches to be stored in the freezer...Banana puree can easily be made just by mashing a banana in a bowl with a fork or masher..I'll write an entry about some recipes later on..:-)..

Since I'm unable to fully breastfeed Adam (I'll try my best to fully breastfeed Adam's adik later on insyaAllah), I decided to prepare all his food by myself (kind of menebus kesilapan..hehe)..However, I'll consider to use over the shelves commercial baby foods for travelling. By opting to cook your baby's food by yourself, you're helping him to be a better eater. Baby who eats commercial foods tends to be a fussy eater and the commercial foods taste quite bland due to being made in bulk quantity..

However, what you choose to give your child is really up to you, depending on your budget and ability. Every people is different and every baby is different too. It doesn't make you love your child less or turning you into a bad parent by giving your baby formula milk and commercial food. You know your child best!..

Assalamualaikum!..

Yes, after 3 months from my last post...This is an achievement!..I was bored to death and kept refreshing the Facebook page for the last 2 hours and suddenly realized that I have a blog that has been abandoned for like forever!..haha...well I've changed the blog title...excuse the name okay..:p..

Adam is sleeping now and I'm waiting to perform my Maghrib prayer..It's summer now and the daytime is very long!..From 3.30 am in the morning until 9.47 pm!..Can you imagine how the fasting month would be then?..Buka puasa maybe dalam pukul 10 kot!.hehe..

It has been about 1 year and a half since I left Malaysia for UK to further my studies..My studies is a little bit slow due to the pregnancy and maternity leave...but it's progressing pretty well now..I should write an entry about my PhD project later..haha...I'm a food engineer by background so I've been dealing with food since my MSc studies..not creating a new food but more to the design of the processing..:-)..

This is my output after 1.5 years in the UK..A healthy baby boy and a report..hehe..

Adam is 6 months old now and has started weaning...so mummy dah masak macam2 'lauk' for him..hehe...yeah and I should write an entry about that too I guess?..hehe...perhaps it would benefit people..:-)..and maybe about pram/stroller selection (I'm a pushchair addict and a very particular one!), changing bag and baby clothes?..wah takde keje la tu nak tulis semua ni..hehe..

I haven't blog for nearly a year!!!...hehe...since I started pregnant, sampailah sekarang my baby boy dah umur 3 months old...:-)...

Adam Danial bin Mohd Hafizul was born on 18th of December 2010 at North Manchester General Hospital...

1 day old

He is now 3 months old...:-)...Love him unconditionally...

Alhamdulillah...Syukur atas rezeki kurniaan-Nya...After being married for 1 year & 4 months, this is a gift from Allah S.W.T....My husband and I are ready for this new life...Syukur Allah S.W.T permudahkan...to be frank, mmg dah mula rasa perlunya ada org baru...:-)...At the age of 26, I feel dah smpai masanya...:-)..

Segalanya berlaku atas izin-Nya...Syukur...Semoga kami berdua kuat and sihat...Walaupun badan terasa lain sikit, tetap kena kuatkan semangat and gagahkan diri utk ke School...Alhamdulillah...so far belum ada 'morning sickness'...:-)...Tapi hari ni, dah mula rase nak mkn benda masam...hehehe...So I ate apple just now...and now feel slightly better...

I met the midwife last Thursday...and alhamdulillah, based on normal cycle calculation, I'm in 5 weeks of pregnancy...still very early...kena rehat byk...jalan slow2 ke school...Alhamdulillah, kekuatan masih diberikan oleh Allah S.W.T...:-)...InsyaAllah the due will be on 28th December 2010...:-)...Semoga semuanye dipermudahkan...

I aim to submit a 3-month Progress Report within this month...InsyaAllah...skrg ni dah nak siap...tinggal touch up sikit je...Syukur masih diberikan kekuatan utk siapkan keje...:-)...

Salam everybody...wahhh..it seems so long since my last entry...I really didn't have even a single chance to update this blog previously bcoz we still don't have internet at home...but today, I'll do it here at my postgraduate office...hehe...

It's been 2 weeks and 4 days since I arrived in Manchester...Alhamdulillah everything went well for me and my husband...eventhough there were slight problems last week, I hope everything will be OK soon...

I'm officially a postgraduate student at the School of Chemical Engineering and Analytical Science, The University of Manchester...once again as a student...but at a very different environment from what I used to have back in Malaysia...

I admit that I really miss Malaysia...my family, my friends and my workplace (UPM)...everything is so different here...but we're trying our best to suit ourselves to this new culture and environment...and so far, everything is great for us...we're learning and learning from zero...

These are some of the activities that we've done in the past 2 weeks until today:

Stayed at our host 's place for a few days until we moved to our own house...

Our house is located at 11, Brideoak Street, Cheetham Hill...

We went to shop for necessities at Manchester Fort, Primark, Asda & Tesco...berjimat cermat membeli brg2 murah sbb masih tgh membiasakan diri dgn life kat sini...:-)...

We had already registered for NHS which stands for National Health Insurance...that enables us to get medical treatment here...

Take bus from Cheetham Hill to Manchester Piccadilly which takes about 10 mins...and then walk from Piccadilly to School for about 15 mins...mmg menyihatkan...tp skrg ni tgh winter, teramatla sejuknye...hehe...

I met my PhD supervisor, Dr. Peter James Martin on 28th Jan...he is a very nice person...he introduced me to all the students under his supervision...and he took me to the laboratory where I'll be working in this very near future...hehe....and he took us for lunch on Friday...:-)...

I met a few friends here...Helen, Vicky, Linda and James...they are all very nice and warm...looking forward to meeting more friends here...:-)...

I also met a few Malaysian here...Abg Muammar & Kak Yati (who had helped us a lot), Kak Ucu, Pian (who is very nice to us since day 1)...

It was snowing last Sunday..that was our first time ever to see snow in our life...syukur to Allah S.W.T..

and finally, this morning hubby got the National Insurance (NI) number which entitles him to work legally here..hehe...

Alhamdulillah....OK, I've uploaded a few pics in my Facebook...but I'll upload some of them here later...I have a group meeting this evening at 3pm...James is going to present something about his work...and I'll do an introduction presentation next Tuesday...heeeee...need to prepare couple of slides this weekend...:-)...

1st Anniversary...

Salam...Yesterday, 13th of December was our 1st wedding anniversary...we didn't make any specific plan to celebrate it...we wanted to take it easy as a first timer...hehehe...

We went to celebrate Miza, my friend's wedding...it seems that times do fly fast...last year she attended my wedding reception (on 14th of Dec 2008) and yesterday, I was attending hers...It's been a year already...I miss that moment...:-)...OK...let's reminisce the moment a little bit...hehe....

Thanks hubby (Mohd Hafizul Ismail) for all the love, support and everything...may Allah S.W.T. bless both of us always...and may both of us be together forever...aminnn...

After akad nikah....

On the reception day...

Okay done...hehe...actually before going to Miza's wedding, we went to mum's place to send some of our belongings to be kept at her house since we're moving from our current house....Then only we went to the wedding...Oh, actually Miza's house is near my mum's house..hehe...

After the wedding, we went back to mum's place to lepak2...and after Asar prayer, we made our move to...shoppingggg...yay!...

But we didn't go to shopping complex...we went to the largest IT heaven in Malaysia...Plaza Lowyat in KL...hehe...Hubby wanted to buy himself a laptop...so he did buy one...makin canggih skrg semua laptop...dah pakai Windows 7 pulak skrg ni...sabar ajelah...time diriku ini membeli Sony Vaio bulan July lepas, masih Windows Vista...huhuh...terlalu laju teknologi bergerak...jadi janganlah kite ketinggalan...heheh...

Despite of buying the laptop, we had made our greatest buying of the year...it's been our dream to own this macho-stylo-thingy....hehehe...we had discussed about this purchasing earlier...to make sure that we won't make any mistake...

And yesterday it seemed that, we both had made our mind...for the first time...to buy something that is very new to our life...something that we will dedicate our interest on...something that is worth buying...

We finished our shopping at around 10pm...kedai kamera tu mmg dah ready nak tutup dah time kami nak kuar...heheh...

So..there goes our day...we didn't plan for any romantic dinner or any special celebration together...but we did spent our time together (and spent our money too..haha..)...rather than going to watch a movie and even having a romantic dinner at a 5-star hotel...kuikui...

Something that is worth to be done...something that I haven't done for quite some time...something that gives me passion...SHOPPING!!!...hehe...Thanks B...:-)...

New Place...

Salam...

Alhamdulillah we've got a house to rent...situated in Brideoak Street, Cheetham Hill, The Greater Manchester...

Alhamdulillah...We've paid the deposit...I'm so grateful that my friend, Hafiz has helped me a lot...He is doing his PhD in the Uni. of Manchester and he used to be my classmate when I was in Form 1..hehe...and he is also a tutor of UPM's Electrical Engineering Department...Thanks so much pal!!..

My house is situated in front of a mosque...Alhamdulillah...semoga sinar Islam akan kekal teguh di hati...Aminn...Hafiz said this is a strategic place...near the Cheetham Hill market, shopping store, bank, bus stand, etc...:-)...

Something special about all the UK houses is that all the houses are fully furnished...hehe...My house is well equipped with all the necessary furniture and electrical appliances...According to what Hafiz told me, I just need to buy curtains, duvets, bedsheets...and plus a TV set...hehe...

Pray for me friends...berdebar sungguh rasa hati ni...

And...15th of January 2010 will be the day...I will be leaving Malaysia...May Allah bless me and my husband...and also my family...Aminn...

There is only 1 month left...and I need to start sorting and packing things...and to move out from my current house...We will be staying at mum's place starting from January...Hope everything will go well as we've planned...InsyaAllah...

Salaam...

Time flies so fast...It's already December...In just less than 30 days, 2010 will come....We need to move forward and no turning back...Let bygones be bygones...We need to improve ourselves to be a better person...better muslim...better ummah...

Contribute our skills, knowledge, money etc. to the society...To be specific, we should contribute back to our family, friends, nation and to all the people around the world since all the 'rezeki' are given by Allah The Almighty...Everything happens by Allah's leave...Don't forget who we are...since we will only be judged by our faith, good deeds and knowledge in the Hereafter...So brothers and sisters, let us do the self-criticism (al-muhasabah) to improve ourselves...

Maimun bin Mahran, a famous companion of the Prophet, used to say: "A pious person scrupulously examines and appraises himself more than he would a tyrant ruler and a tight-fisted partner!"

Alhamdulillah...Thank you Allah S.W.T. for all the 'rezeki' given....

December will be a very busy month for everyone including myself...My beloved sister, 'Aisya will be coming back to Malaysia tomorrow for holidays...can't wait to see her...and then we'll be going to Johor for my cousin's engagement...every coming weekends will be filled with activities...and my 1st anniversary is just around the corner..13th of December...:-)....It's nearly a year for me as a wife...

Salam...

I've just received a very good news last nite...a news from Brussels, Belgium....Alhamdulillah...our Fruits Grater apparatus has won a gold medal at INNOVA competition held in Brussels, Belgium...

This is the improved version of the original prototype...we had improved it from various aspects...but of course, research will never stop...and everything needs to be improved over and over again...:-)...despite all the circumstances that came in our way, we had made it...congratulations to the team members, Dr. Siti Mazlina, Mr.Wan Zuha, Mr. Faizal, Mrs. Yati and Miss Intan....Thank you very much...:-)....

This news really encourages me to work hard and embrace knowledge till the end of time...InsyaAllah...

Recently....

Salam...wahh it seems so long since my last entry...was so busy these last few weeks...went to Perlis last weekend...Next week will be going to Ipoh to celebrate AidilAdha...

But before that, need to settle the visa application...will be going to Visa Application Centre this coming Tuesday...All the documents are ready...I've successfully obtained the ATAS clearance in just 5 working days...cepat betul..heheh...

I will start my holiday on this Tuesday until Sunday...After the visa application appointment on Tuesday, we will be going back to Ipoh...Hope the visa application process will go well...

Last week was so busy...we need to ask for Pejabat Agama Islam to give the English translation of our marriage certificate...and also to ask the Commissioner for Oaths to translate our birth certificates to English...Alhamdulillah everything went well...:-)....I'm hoping that the rest of the process will go well...InsyaAllah...

Weekend ni kami masak...since we ate at gerai so frequent last week due to our hectic schedule and keadaan rumah yg dipenuhi barang2...hehe...actually, we have started to pack our things at home...hubby is so helpful in this matter...since I am so busy with the visa apps thingy...hehehe...gune kan all his 5's knowledge in sorting all the barang2 at home...:-D...thank u so much B...I lep u lahh!!!

Oh...btw...my sister, Ecah will be coming back on 3rd of December...can't want to meet u sis!!..and then we'll be going to Johor for my cousin's engagement...Selamat Bertunang Huzir and Sabrina...:-)..

Salam...

This week is really tiring...alhamdulillah i've finished doing the executive summary for the curriculum review...tomorrow i'll be attending the curriculum review meeting for the whole day...I'm giving my helping hands to the department before I further my studies in January 2010...InsyaAllah...just to contribute back to my beloved department...:-)...

This morning I went to Immigration Department in Kajang to do my passport together with hubby...Gosh...There were so many people...we took our queue number at around 9am...my number was 1128 and hubby's was 1129...at that time, the number in process was 1060!!...we had to wait for 68 people to submit their form before we can submit our form...but luckily we went there together...so there were so many things to be discussed and talked about...hehe...mcm la kat umah tak sembang kan...kuikui...so after about 2 hours waiting, we managed to submit our forms and pay the fee...rm300 for 32 pages...and we had to wait until 1.30 pm until we can take another queue number to take the passport...okla...seperti yg dijanjikan siap dlm 2 hours...we went to have our lunch together and went to the nearby KWSP office to check our KWSP accounts...we were so surprised by the amount available in the account...alhamdulillah...ada juga simpanan di hari tua nanti...

At around 1 pm, we went back to the immigration dpmt...Lucky us...we didn't have to wait until 1.30 pm...our passports were already available for collection...so, this is the first time I ever have my own passport!!!..hahahaha...

OK...so the next stage is to apply for Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS)...For individual who wish to enter the UK to further their studies, they need to apply for this ATAS clearance...It is used to help stop the spread of knowledge and skills that could be used in the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (this definition is taken from ATAS Office Website)...only after obtaining its approval I can apply for my VISA...

This ATAS process will take around 5-10 working days...and even longer for Chemical Engineering course...huhuh...my programme of study is under Chemical Engineering and Analytical Science..so it seems that I have to wait for...say 2 weeks??..huhuh...I've registered for the application of ATAS just now..so now I can just wait until they give me the password...cepat2 la dpt email from the office...I want to settle this asap....

Apart from that, I've asked around for the house rent in Manchester...the most suitable place up to this point would be the Cheetam Hill...but i haven't finalized it yet..since there is another option...so the progress of house searching is only 20%...since I feel it is still early...and I don't have to rush to find a house...yeker??..haha...

Ok...I think it's better for me to stop now...since I need enough sleep to gain back my energy for tomorrow meeting...Ok peeps...that's all for now...

Bought all the books last week at MPH Mid Valley...I wasn't searching for the latest books but I was searching for books that suit me...suit my soul...(^_^)v....

Reason for buying those books : To fill up my spare time...so I will not be bored to death...hehe...

Currently reading : While The Light Lasts by the famous Queen of Crime, Agatha Christie...

Next book to be read : Either one of Jane Austen's books....

Estimated time to finish all of them : Next 3 months....

Why it takes so long to finish them up : 'cause I have lotsa things to do la...since I'm a dedicated employee and devoted housewife...hahaha...

Why I'm writing this blog now: 'cause I just wanna fill up my time...Tired of looking at the tutorials that need to be marked...hehe...

p/s: Waiting for tomorrow to book 2 tickets to watch Papadom on Friday...Wanna book them via online....it's easier and faster...:-)...

It's all about Raya...

Salam all...

I've just finished my tutorial class...and have quite some time to update this blog...hehe...I'm gonna share some stories about this year Hari Raya...the 1st Hari Raya for me as a wife...It's quite hectic but it was exhilarating...(^_^)v...

1st Syawal

Okay..on the 1st Syawal we were at my mother's home in Cheras, Selangor...After Hari Raya prayer, we forgave each other for any wrongdoings...The 1st person whom I asked for forgiveness was my husband..of course la kan...and we didn't make it for public view...hehehehe...

As always, I cried when I asked for mom's forgiveness...huhu...I can't resist that... We took several pictures together with different poses as usual...but I only have a pic of all of us...I haven't asked my brother for the rest of the pictures yet...hehe...so I only have this one...

After the sesi bermaafan, we headed to Malacca...our kampung...we stayed at a homestay in Ayer Keroh...but our kampung is in Serkam...so it took around 30 minutes to reach there from Ayer Keroh...we were so happy even though it was quite tiring to travel and beraya on the same day...Everything was good but unfortunately we forgot to take a lot of pics at kampung..bz beraya jer..haha....so nothing to be shown here...

After beraya bagai nak rak, we headed to our homestay around 6.30 pm...since hubby and my brothers wanted to watch ManU main bola...hehe...

2nd Syawal

On the next day, after having our breakfast, we went back to KL around 10 a.m...I went straight to our house in UPM to feed our beloved guppy fishes...hehe...and to take our luggage for our next destination, Perak...mom went straight to Cheras...

After taking our luggage, we went to mom's place for lunch...mak beli jer kat kedai mamak sbb tak larat nak masak..hehe...

Then around 2 pm, we headed to Perak...we arrived at Tapah (hubby's kampung) around 3.30pm...beraya dengan saudara mara di kampung sampai mlm...around 10pm, we headed to Ipoh...sesampainye kat umah terus mandi, solat and dozed off....

3rd Syawal

On 3rd Syawal, me and hubby went to visit my grandma at Permatang Pauh, Penang...rindunye kat Tok...sesampainye kat umah Tok, we were astonished by the beauty of the living room...It was Madam Hana's touch...cute betul...:-)..... So lepas makan2, sembang2 and tolong Tok layan tetamu beraya, kami pun pulang ke Ipoh...on our way to Ipoh, sempat beraya kat rumah kwn hubby... Sampai kat Ipoh, sembang2 dgn family and terus tido... Amatla penat...3 hari berturut-turut travel dari negeri ke negeri...huhuh...

4 Syawal

Ok...4 Syawal ni hanya duduk je kat umah...and prepare for Majlis Cukur Jambul and Naik Buai my niece Eryssa...I helped in the decoration of the buai...It's the fusion of traditional Malay buai & English style...bunga2 pink putih tu yg nmpk mcm English nyer...hehe...traditional buai tu my mother-in-law punye request...and the English look was definitely my taste!!..hehe...

5 Syawal

Majlis Naik Buai Eryssa and also open house...so makan2 je time nih...:-)....and tolong jadi gadis pemotong daun pandan dan pembawa dulang...hehe...

6 Syawal

Nothing much to do on Friday...just went to Mak Lang's place for Majlis Merisik our cousin...

7 Syawal

My sis-in-law went back to Perlis on Saturday...before that, we took the family pic together...and also several other pictures...

8 Syawal

We went back to KL....we still on leave the next day (Monday) but balik awal to avoid the congestion...

So, I think that's all for now...Hari Sabtu lepas ada 4 open houses...On Sunday, I celebrated my bestie's (Jehan) birthday at Mid Valley and then went to 2 open houses...banyaknye makan.....

Satu gambar pun tak amik time open house...mmg terlupa..huhuhu....syok makan je keje...:-D..

Smlm dkt MPH Mid Valley, I bought a few books....from Madelaine Wickham, Dan Brown, Jane Austen and Agatha Christie...teringin nak baca Christie's...so beli la smlm..hehe...Next time (perhaps 3 months from now kot..:p) nak pi MPH lagi and beli koleksi Sidney Sheldon pulak...dah lame nak kumpul..I've read 3 of his books...and they were awesome!!!...will definitely read the others later...hehehe...

Selamat Hari Raya and Back to Work...

Salam all...

I'm back to work today...after quite a long Raya hols...I feel the urge to update this blog because it's already 'bersawang'...hehehe...

I have Process Control and Insterumentations laboratory at 2pm...I've quite a free time now since I've finished typing the questions for the Process Control tutorial..I've also corrected the previous tutorials this morning...but sikit je la larat...kene ada mood yg baik baru bole marking paper...kalo tak, serabut kepala!...hehe...

So, last week was good...On the first Raya, we went back to our kampung in Malacca...On the next day, we went to Perak pulak...On the third raya, we went to Penang to visit my grandma...huh...really tired but we really enjoyed the sweet moments...On 5th of Syawal, my in-laws family hold an open house...so many foods to be eaten...I'm gaining my weight now...:-D...setiap hari pun makan2 jer since all the activities involved food!..hahah...

I planned to post an entry about our beraya moment...since my sis Aisya yg jauh di perantauan dah call mintak update stories about Raya...hehehehe...sabar ye cik Ecah...I'll post the stories later..need to collect all the pics from my younger bro Syafiq, my hubby and my sister-in-law...after I've collected all the pics, I'll post an entry yer Cik Ecah...

This Ramadhan...

Salam all...

Today is 12th of Ramadhan...this is the first Ramadhan for me as a wife...It's a very different feeling...This is the first time I need to wake up early in the morning to prepare food for sahur...and I can say that it is not really difficult..It's quite exciting...heheh...

Hubby was so helpful...he did help a lot in the food preparation...we divided all the tasks accordingly...I did the cooking...hubby helped to wash all the dishes...but for the sahur, I need to get the food ready by my own...of course la suami tido lagi..hehe...

The 1st until 3rd Ramadhan, we were at my in-laws house in Ipoh...I can't helped feeling so happy...That was the first time I met my niece Eryssa..she is darn cute...but as a baby, of course she did sleep a lot...but according to my sis-in-law, she started to wake up quite frequent now...baby Eryssa, mak lang can't wait to play with you and gelak2 with you..plz grow up fast ya...I think by 3 months old, Eryssa will start to laugh and play a lot...bole la mak lang belikan lotsa toys for you...:-)...

OK..beginning from the 4th of Ramadhan I prepared the sahur and berbuka...normally we just bought food from bazar Ramadhan..but we cooked the rice and prepared the drinks by ourselves...just lauk and kuih muih saje yg beli...on 8th of Ramadhan, we berbuka at my mum's house...I bought lotsa lauk yg sedap and kuih from Serdang's bazar...because I can say that the bazar at mum's place is not so up to standard as Serdang's bazar..hehe...sedih benar tgk lauk yg ade..kuikui...So, to add the happiness to my siblings, I bought all the foods they requested...puas hati saye!..I'm happy that I work in Serdang area...with lotsa foods available around...(^_^)v...

On 9th of Ramadhan, hubby asked me to cook for our berbuka...I wasn't very confident at first since I never cooked for berbuka puasa..dengan tak dpt merasa makanan, I thought it was difficult...but then I took the challenge...because challenge is exciting..isn't it?...hehe...so I decided to cook sup ayam berempah, sambal tumis ikan bilis and ayam goreng serai (it looks and tastes like ayam berempah)...hah, that was so brave of me...entah ape ntah rasenye nanti...but I tried my best...I followed my instinct...I started to prepare the ingredients at 3pm..and started to cook around 4pm...I finished the task by 5pm I guess...So, in the end, the outcome was not as I predicted at first...I can say that I got the talent..:p....hubby said all the foods were good...mane tak nye, I bubuh all the rempah ratus yg ada dlm sup tu...hehe...

Sup Ayam Berempah ciptaan saye...ok la for first time nak masak for berbuka...

All time favourite...Sambal Tumis Ikan Bilis...

OK...today I got tutorial class at 11 am...Process Control and Instrumentations...and I'm handling the laboratory for this subject too...mmg mencabar task mak sem ni...huhu...since last year dpt subjek yg 'membunuh' utk ajar tutorial...last year was Engineering Math...wuwuwu...I really hope that I can handle the tutorial for Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics or Physical Unit Operation...those were my favourite subjects...but I think next sem I will not be around bcoz I need to continue my studies...PhD or some people might call it 'Permanent Head Damage'...kahkah...

Salam...My eyes are very tired now...dari tadi menghadap laptop...nak susun references dalam software EndNote ni..I thought I could do it easily...tetapi...leceh jugak rupenye..huhu..sakit mata and pening kepala...EndNote is used as a reference manager which stores all of the references...baik journals, patents, etc..

Masa buat Masters dulu, malas nak buat bende ni..skrg baru la nak start buat...padahal supervisor dah pesan since 1st sem...ini yg dinamakan procrastination yg melampau..haha...tu yg mase susun references kat thesis, mata sampai rase berpinar2..hehehe...so, skrg ni kene jugak buat 1 reference manager supaya mata takkan berpinar lg waktu buat journals nanti...:-D...

This entry doesn't have any objective...hehe..saje2 je...

p/s: dah abis baca Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella...best!!!...selepas setahun lebih tak baca chic lit, akhirnye dpt jugak ketawa bila baca buku ni..:-D...it's a good way to release my stress...terasa sedikit pulih dari temporary head damage lepas siapkan Masters...LOL...

Salam...today is my convocation day...Snapped a few pictures...Will collect the official convo pics by this week...and can't wait to collect the studio pic of hubby and me...hehehe...

I felt relax during the convo...unlike during my Bachelor Degree convo 2 years ago...excited+quite nervous...I was also excited during this second time convo...but the excitement was different...

After u get a Master Degree, u'll feel so relieve that u've finished the degree...It's not an easy task to do especially to obtain a research degree...You have to sacrifice so much...sometimes u'll be so happy when u get the desired results...but sometimes, u'll drop your precious tears...and cry your heart out over a few things that might hurt you along the process...Ohhh...it's such a learning process...When u walk during the Graduands Procession, the feeling is different too...not the same as your Bachelor Degree...when you walk into the Hall, u'll feel that all your hard work and sacrifice are paid off...

I'm happy and proud of myself...In my own way...

Ini baru Masters...I heard a lot from my colleague about her PhD convo...the feeling is much much more different...of course since it's a PhD anyway...oh it's hard to define the 'different' feeling that I've been talking about...hehe...only people in my position will understand...

Salam...today is the happiest day for us...A sweet and cute baby girl was born at 1.59am on 6th of August 2009...Eryssa Nur Iman binti Mohamad Ezral is the name given...Congratulations to my sister-in-law and her husband for the delivery of this baby...

So now, I'm officially called Aunty Aliaa aka Mak Lang...hehehe...

Eryssa Nur Iman...so cute...:-)...

Jadi Ramadhan and Syawal tahun ni akan menjadi lebih bermakna buat keluarga mertuaku...InsyaAllah...Tahun ni merupakan Ramadhan and Syawal pertama saya bersama suami dan keluarga mertua...dan baby Eryssa sudah pasti akan memberi seribu kegembiraan buat kami sekeluarga...

Convo...Next Week!!!

UPM 33rd Convocation will be held from 8th of August until 11th of August...Master of Science graduands will receive their scroll during the 8th session i.e. the last session on 11th of August on next Tuesday...So, I'll be receiving my masters degree certificate on next Tuesday...:-)...

I'm currently thinking of what kind & colour of baju kurung and tudung to be worn...Am thinking to wear chiffon baju kurung in blue together with light blue tudung with sakura awning that I bought from Kak Maira...but need to test whether I can wear the mortar board with this kind of tudung...takut awning rosak...hehehe...

InsyaAllah tomorrow I'll take the Academic Regalia a.k.a. set jubah konvokesyen...I'm still having flu and sore throat rite now...hope will recover from it asap...:-)...

My New Baby...

Salam...just want to share with all of u...my new baby...bukan baby=anak...but a new lappy for me to do all my works...and of course to save other stuffs too...

It's been a while since I bought my new baby...but I rarely used it since I was still in trauma mode before this...hehe...but alhamdulillah...I'm ok now...so sudah rajin menggunakan laptop ni...before this just gune desktop hubby saje and laptop ni kusimpan dalam almari saje...hehe...

Semoga dengan kehadiran laptop baru ni dpt memberikan sejuta makna dan menaikkan semangat utk terus berjaya dalam study dan dlm karier...InsyaAllah...lepas ni akan lebih berhati2...

I also got myself a new pencil case too...sebab sudah hilang juga bersama2 laptop..huhuh...lucky me that all the academic staffs dpt teaching kit which consists of pencils, pens, marker pens, erasers etc...now I just need to buy a new CALCULATOR...susah jugak tau takde calculator...especially time nak kira2 diskaun bile tgh online shopping...hahah...bole?...:p....

So peeps, in the name of Allah, I'm sharing with all of you my new laptop...

My new baby...Vaio CS in Pink...

It's pink in colour..my favourite color...it's quite purplish actually...so it's the combination of my favourite colors - purple + pink...

My previous laptop was Hp Compaq (yg masih kelihatan seperti baru..plastik pun tak tanggal lagi tau...huhu)...tapi mase tgh survey2 laptop, hati ni terasa sedih sgt bile tgk lambang Q kat cover Hp Compaq yg dijual di kedai2...so I decided not to buy that brand to prevent me from remembering my previous lappy...huhu...

So, I was thinking of buying something that is durable since I'm going to use it for my doctorate studies in the near future, insyaAllah...haruslah something that has a very good processor, big RAM and also HDD...after surveying in the internet, I listed out 2 possible laptops which were Hp Pavilion (which has the LCD screen that can be turned 360 degree..hehe..) and Sony Vaio...Hp Pavilion uses AMD Turion processor while Vaio uses Intel Core 2 Duo processor...

In doing postgraduate studies, takde maknenye bukak laptop sekejap je pastu tutup...we need to search smpai ke segala ceruk kat internet tu to surf for the related materials...bukak lappy for just 2 hours a day is not enough...kdg2 ada laptop smpai terpadam terus sebab cepat panas (due to its processor yg cepat pns)...so Intel is a better choice...setelah mendapat nasihat dari mereka yg pandai pasal laptop i.e. Cik Firah & En. Raman, maka, saya bersama hubby terus ke Sony Center and bought this Sony Vaio CS...The specs are as follows:

Intel Core 2 Duo Processor P8700 (2.53 GHz) - mmg laju nih...hehe...

Memory 4 GB - ini mmg byk and laju utk buat keje atau utk hubby main game ker..hehe...

HDD 320 GB - storage yg besar adalah amat penting...

Graphics by NVIDIA - ini juga penting utk software yg berkaitan graphics..mcm AutoCad and Cartia ataupun game..hehe..

Semoga dengan adanya laptop ni, semangat akan semakin berkobar2...utk belajar and bekerja...Aminn...:-)...

Salam...I have a mild flu rite now...Syukur tak kene H1N1 ke ape...semalam dah pi check...tak demam but just having a mild flu...hehe...Tapi Dr. kasi ubat banyak...ni dah makan antibiotik, alhamdulillah dah ok sikit...

Hari ni, hubby ada meeting tergempar dgn Pengetua kolej..rupenye UPM cuti seminggu mulai today smpai next week 4th August...student aje cuti...staff kene kerja mcm biase...so esok nak pi kerja kene pakai mask la kot...arini saye rehat saje di rumah...Semoga penularan wabak ni akan berkurangan juga nanti...same2 berdoa...Aminn...

Semoga flu saye ni cepat baik..weekend ni nak ikut hubby pi Hari Keluarga ofis dia kat PD...yahooo...:-)...

Salam..hehe...menarik tak tajuk entry kali ni...tadi lepas keje, terus ajak hubby makan kat luar sbb tak larat nak mengemas2 dapur mlm ni...sbb mlm ni nak balik Ipoh...hehe...Jadi, kami pun terus ke Bangi cari tmpt nak makan...Lepas tu, jumpe la cafe di bawah ni...

Ini dia...Nu-in Corner, Little Perak in Bangi...

Hehe..mmg best sgt rase bile jumpe satu cafe yg ada nama Perak di tgh2 Selangor ni...hubby pun kate dia seronok dpt jumpe cafe ni (sbb dia orang Perak sejati....Ipoh mali lagi...)...kuikui...So, makanan yg kami makan ialah Nasi Lemak Ipoh...hehe...ada juga Nasi Lemak Perak...tapi Nasi Lemak Ipoh ni nmpk lagi best...

Sedap betul nasi lemak ni...Sambal sotong dia, ya ampun...sedapnye...nasi pun best...Rendang ayam pun same...hehehe...

Air yg kami minum, jus mangga (for me) and Teh Tarik Ipoh (untuk beliau rakyat Ipoh)...hehe...teh tarik ni..rase dia lain dari yg lain lemaknye...tak terlalu manis mcm yg biasa kite minum kat kedai mamak tu...Ni rasa dia milky but light..Rasa mcm dia letak whipped cream dlm tu...hehe...dia punye frothy, ade la nak dekat seinci tingginye...:-D..mmg puas hati...

Teh Tarik Ipoh and Mango Juice

Saye juga ternampak ada keratan majalah yg ditunjuk kat kedai tu..Katenye kedai Perak ni ala2 Starbuck suasana dia...So ape lg, alang2 Starbuck pun saye sudah ban, bole la jimat duit pegi Little Perak ni...Dekat sini ada jugak Frappucino, Cappucino, Latte...lepas tu, kebanyakan makanan and minuman yg dijual, mesti ada nama tmpt kat Perak. Contohnye, Mee Bandung Menara Condong (if I'm not mistaken la...but nama Menara Condong ni mmg ada..:p)...nama Tanjung Malim pun ada...so, kawan saye Cik Firah bole la dtg makan kat sini...bwk sume warga Tanjung Malim dtg...kuikui...

Salam...sudah lame rasenye tak menulis di sini...sibuk kebelakangan ni...ditambah pula dengan kesedihan yg melanda akibat kehilangan laptop minggu lepas...Minggu ni dah 90% recovered dari kesedihan...jadi baru la semangat sikit nak tulis blog nih..

Hari Khamis lepas, 9 July 2009 saye telah meraikan birthday kawan saye iaitu Cik Firah yg ke suku abad (25th)...hehe...mmg hampir2 terlupa sbb asik fikirkan laptop yg hilang tu..huhu...tapi bile tgk kalendar nmpk 9hb, terus teringat...hehe..So, khamis pagi tu, saye ajak Cik Firah keluar...memandangkan saye pun nak tenangkan fikiran...

Jadi kami ke Mines...and we decided to eat at Secret Recipe...Makanan sempena celebration yg tak seberapa dari saye ni adalah seperti di bawah...

Salam...yesterday was the saddest day in my life...I've lost my precious laptop..huhu...all the memories are gone...gone with the wind...The saddest thing is I also lost my organizer together with the laptop since I put my organizer in my laptop bag...same goes to my pendrives and my payslip...huhu...But I'm so grateful because I've finished my masters..if not,i cant imagine what will happen to me...huhu...

Last nite I went to lodge a police report...Although deep in my heart I knew that I might not get the laptop back...but I still hope that I can get my organizer back in some other ways...I'm hoping that the thief will throw away my organizer somewhere near the place that we parked our car so that I can get it back...huhu...

Actually me and my hubby went to pasar mlm yesterday...we have not been to pasar malam for quite a long time since we got married...but hubby was fasting yesterday so he wanted to buy food at pasar mlm ala2 membeli makanan di bazar ramadhan...I didn't know what had happened to me yesterday...I forgot that I've brought together my laptop and put it at the backseat of our car...after buying all the foods, we realized that my laptop wasn't at its place and noticed that 'bahagian tmpt masuk kunci dkt pintu kereta telah dikopakkan'..DAMN!!!!...

I was so shocked...I called my mom and cried my heart out...while hubby went back to the pasar mlm area to search for the laptop bag (aku dah kat umah masa ni)...but nothing found..then i called hubby to come back home and break his fast first before we went to lodge a police report...the policeman told us that all the thieves nowadays have some kind of detector that can detect the laptop eventhough you keep them in the car bonnet...huhu...

So...there goes all my masters memories...huhu...lucky me that I've received the award of degree...alhamdulillah...but I'm still praying to Allah..if the laptop and my organizer happened to be mine again, then they will come back to me...if not, I've to accept the fate...

Despite of all the sadness, I've received a good news just now...My salary has been increased to '2 tangga gaji'...alhamdulillah...Berbaloi juga berhempas pulas utk masters..Although in another institutions I have already entitled for lecturer post (DS45) with higher salary, I need to accept what Allah has rewarded for me...Kekurangan dan kepayahan yg kita terima, pasti ada hikmah utk kita...yg akan menjadikan kita lebih baik dari yg lain...may all UPM tutors be stronger and my we become the best in our class (same goes to all the tutors in UM and UKM)...insyaAllah...we are in RU level, so we need to be better than the other..

'Bila Allah ingin beri sesuatu yg baik utk kita, pasti Allah akan ambil sedikit yg kita ada...Supaya kita sentiasa mengingatiNya dan sentiasa bersyukur'...These words are my motivation for my current situation...

Aku akan redha menghadapinya...Amin...I've to buy a new laptop to do all my work...tapi aku masih di dalam trauma........

Salam...today I'm back to work as a tutor after a long study leave...this sem i'll handle the 'amali' of Process Control and Instrumentation subject...I've just came back from Kursus Kenegaraan di Ulu Sepri, Rembau on Monday...masih terasa sengal2 lagi otot...the Kursus was a very good course for us Malaysian...mengigatkan kembali tentang sejarah Tanah Melayu dlm menuntut kemerdekaan...tentang Perlembagaan Negara...sehingga lah apa yg Malaysia sudah ada dan hadapi skrg...

I'll write an entry or perhaps two entries regarding the BTN course...

Fikiran terasa tenang kat sana...jauh dari segala kesibukan kerja...dpt menumpukan perhatian...enjoy semua aktiviti...menghayati sejarah negara...dpt kenal dgn ramai kwn yg pastinye semua golongan professional yg bakal melanjutkan pelajaran ke luar negara...ada juga doktor2 pakar yg ingin menyambung kepakaran mereka di luar negara...akauntan dan arkitek yg ingin meneruskan kepakaran atau pengajian dlm bidang masing2...so much to be shared...

For me, BTN is NOT a 'boring' course like other people might say...I love and enjoyed the course...org yang mengatakan BTN ni bersifat perkauman mungkin tidak menumpukan perhatian dan tidak berminat langsung sepanjang kursus dijalankan...jadi terjadilah statement yg bersifat 'bias' begitu...kalau nak tahu ape yg dilakukan di BTN, silalah membuka minda dan hadir ke kursus BTN yg diadakan setiap bulan...

I will collect some pictures from my group mate yg juga merupakan tutor UPM and will plan what to write for my next entry...:-)...

Till then peeps...Selamat bekerja dan berkhidmatlah dgn seikhlas hati...be in the front line...jgn takut utk maju...

OMG OMG OMG...My friend, June is pregnant!!!!!...5 weeks now...baru je dpt berita happy ni siang tadi...I'm happy for her...June got married with her beloved hubby (who is also my classmate zaman UPM) in March 2009...masih ada aura pengantin baru tetapi sudah preggy...alhamdulillah!!!!....

Dijangka bersalin 25 Feb 2010...So, kawan2 KPM, sila simpan duit nak beli hadiah baby pulak pasni...baru je beli hadiah utk wedding, kene prepare for baby pulak...hehehe....

Ok...saye pulak kene gi Kem BTN kat Ulu Sepri, Rembau hari Khamis ni...sampai Isnin...lama sungguh...baru dpt surat...mmg busy la nak siap2 kan barang...handphone akan disimpan oleh fasilitator...I'm going to miss my hubby so much!!!...huhu...hehe..tapi semangat harus dikuatkan...mari berkursus tatanegara...:-)...

Salam...wahhh lame betul tak update...quite bz lately...nih nak kene siapkan business presentation utk next week...waaa...mmg nangis nak siapkan...sblm ni buat presentation biasa....but this time business presentation psl produk...mane la reti!!!!...huhu...tapi kugagahkan jua diri ini...sob sob...

Minggu dpn nak kene present dkt satu program UPM (nama dirahsiakan...:p)...kalau berjaya and terpilih, mmg rezeki...tapi takuttttt...supervisor tak dpt attend...so saye la org nye yg kene present...hope everything will go well..huhu...stress melanda tahap maksimum...suami kene dgr je luahan hati isterinye ini...but hope semuanye akan berjalan ok...masih menaruh harapan yg supervisor dpt dtg and menyelamatkan diriku ini...huhu...

OK la....takmo cerita stress2...saye ni dah byk kali diberi awards...BUKAN award ape ye...ni award dari bloggers lain...sorry sebab tak sempat sgt nak duduk dpn pc and bukak blog...skrg nih bukan microsoft powerpoint jek...huhuhu...tapi hati ni rase riang ria lepas terima award dari Kak Jun Cupcakekasih...hehe...Thanks so much ye Kak Jun...:-)...terharu rasenye diberi award oleh Kak Jun...so ni ada 'homework' sket kene buat bagi penerima award nih...

Pertama sekali saye tuliskan 5 fakta menarik tentang pemberi award ni iaitu

Kak Jun...

1) Kak Jun adalah seorang insan yg amat berbakat...pandai menjahit, pandai mekap (ni saya baru tau after baca blog kak jun) and yg terbaru sekali, pandai membuat cupcake and cake yg cute and gorgeous!!!!

2) Kak Jun ni dulu dia seorang journalist majalah Jelita and Cosmopolitan...mmg seorang yg byk pengalaman dlm bidang penulisan...sebab tu saye suka baca coretan dia di blog yg canggih manggih Bahasa Melayu nya...Kak Jun jugak rupenye pernah jadi mak andam...tapi sekarang dia layan cupcake and cake jer...hehehe...

3) Kak Jun ada 4 orang anak...iaitu Alia (nama sama mcm saya..hehe), Amir, Arina and Kasih...nama anak2 Kak Jun mmg indah2...:-)..

4) Rumah Kak Jun ni letaknye di Seksyen 4 Subang Jaya...rumah Kak Jun style nye ala2 bali...bile masuk, terasa mcm ada kat SPA pulak...dgn kolam ikan dan dim light kat rumahnye itu..sgt2 menenangkan...patutla idea Kak Jun nak berkarya mmg mencurah2...:-)....

5) Kak Jun mmg seorang yg peramah...wlpn baru 1st time jumpa, tak terasa kekok langsung...kalau seharian lepak2 dgn Kak Jun borak2 pun tak boring...wlpn hari tu jumpa sekejap je, tapi mcm2 cerita kami kongsi...Suami Kak Jun and adik Alia pun peramah org nye...:-)...

OK..itu serba sedikit psl Kak Jun...Jadi skrg tugas KEDUA ialah penerima mesti menyatakan 10 fakta menarik tentang hobi atau diri sendiri...

1) Saya sewaktu kecil dulu mmg gemar menulis cerpen dan karangan...agaknye ikut ciri2 emak saya yg bekerja sebagai penulis buku...mcm2 saye tulis...padahal umur baru 11 tahun...saye jugak suka membaca novel kanak2 yg mak bawak balik dari office...rumah kami dulu ada satu almari besar penuh dgn story books...jiran2 siap dtg pinjam2 lg...skrg ntah mana semua buku2 tu...yg byk kat umah mak skrg ni kamus...mcm2 kamus ada...hehe...skrg bila dah besar ni, masih gemar menulis...tulis2 journal hasil penyelidikan...bahan2 bacaan saya skrg adalah journals and buku2 yg berkaitan bidang kajian saye...Amalkan budaya membaca dlm diri...hehe...

2) Saya masa kecik penah suka dgn jahitan...masa tu umur 10 tahun...sekolah kat Penang...Cikgu Rahmah (guru kelas waktu tu), ajar kami menjahit jahitan crosstitch..bestnye waktu tu..di zaman kanak2 yg begitu innocent...kami menjahit dgn riangnye...buat corak bunga la, buah la and mcm2...dulu saye simpan barang2 jahitan saye seperti pelbagai jenis benang and kain dlm satu bekas aiskrim yg besar...tapi biase la kanak2...sekejap je minat...lepas tu dilupakan..skrg ni dah taktau kat mane semua barang tu...tapi hasrat di hati, nak menjahit jugak nanti isi masa lapang...bole jugak buat hiasan...:-)...

3) Saya tak reti duduk je tanpa buat ape2...wlpn bukak TV, buku atau journal atau majalah mesti di tangan...hehe...

4) Saya seorang yg suke promote apa2 sahaja barang2 yg saye rasakan menarik utk dikongsi bersama...contohnye yg terbaru ialah tudung...hehe...tudung Ariani la,De Zahra la, Hajaba, tudung ala2 Siti Nurhaliza and tudung2 DIY...(^_^)v...

5) Saya skrg suka buat online shopping jer...kdg2 bila mata dah tak larat nak tgk microsoft word atau powerpoint, pandangan saye dialihkan pula pada sales blog yg terdpt dgn byknye di alam siber...dah bykla juga benda yg saye shopping secara online...tudung, kasut, baju...hehe...cantik2 semuanye and harga jauh lebih murah..:-)...

6) Saya skrg dlm proses meningkatkn skil memasak...tiap2 petang msk resipi lain2 sejak akhir2 ni...maklumla hari tu tgh sibuk nak siapkan tesis, tak bole nak fokus buat benda lain..so skrg ni dah start rajinkan diri...i can say that my cooking skill is improving...suami pun senyum smpai telinga balik2 keje je isteri dia dah pakai apron di dapur bersama sudip kuali...hehe..gembiranya hati bila suami kata masakan semakin improve (sbb dia seorang yg sgt teliti dlm setiap makanan yg dimakan)...(^_^)v...out of 10 selalu dpt 9...tapi sambal tumis semalam dpt 10...hehehe....happy!

7) Saya suka kek lapis Sarawak yg berwarna warni...:-)....sedap!!!

8) Saya suka makan aiskrim dan milkshake berperisa Vanila...kalau pegi The Coffee Bean pun mmg suke mintak Vanilla Milk...

9) Saya jenis suka duduk rumah..kalau takde perkara2 menarik utk dibuat kat luar tu seperti shopping and melancong, saye lagi gembira kalau duduk rumah jer...:-)...

10) Saya ingin berjaya dlm hidup...Sebab kesusahan yg pernah dilalui byk mengajar diri ini supaya sentiasa tabah dan lalui semuanya dgn positif...(^_^)v...

OK...dah sudah...tugas KETIGA saya adalah pilih 10 org untuk menerima award...Saya just namakan 10 saja mengikut syarat...hehe...tapi terpulangla pd masing2...

1) Miss Jehan

Jehan is a good friend of mine since zaman Asasi dulu. Dia mempunyai Ijazah Master dari University of Cambridge. Skrg tgh mencari tempat utk sambung PhD. InsyaAllah dia juga bakal menjadi ahli akademik. Sekapal la kami nih...hehe...

2) Miss Farah

Also a very good friend of mine..kenal di Asasi juga...Kami bertiga termasuk Jehan, adalah manusia riang ria di Asasi itu. hehe...Cik Farah masih single dan pernah bekerja di D-Link, British American Tobacco and yg akan dtg, sebuah company di Cyberjaya. Farah juga adalah seorang yg manja2 gitu..hehe...

3) Madam Hana

Beliau ini adalah kakak saudara saya...dari kecik mmg kami rakan sepermainan...saya panggil dia cikna...dia skrg dah bergelar seorang ibu...mempunyai business sendiri sebagai makeup artist...dia la yg mekapkan saye waktu bertunang dulu...seorang yg creative and mmg pandai seni sejak dari zaman kanak2...semoga semuanya dipermudahkan utk sepupu saya yg seorang nih...:-)....

4) Yong

Yong adalah kakak ipar saye...namanya Ismiza...tinggal di Perlis and keje di Unimap...sedang menanti kelahiran anak sulung...baby girl insyaAllah....smoga semuanye dipermudahkn...:-)....nanti saye jadi Mak Lang...tapi I prefer Aunty Aliaa...hehehehe...

5) Miss Ejanz

Seorang graduan perubatan dari Ireland. Kenal masa Asasi jugak..Anak kelahiran Sarawak...Skrg kite panggil dia Dr. Ejanz... hehe...

6) Miss Firah

Sahabat sepengajian di UPM..seorang yg nmpk senyap jer tapi sebenarnye byk yg menarik psl Cik Zafirah ni...seorang kawan yg baik...selalu menolong kwn2...masih single tp tak pasti available lg atau tak..hehe...seorang insan yg kuat semangat pada kaca mata saya...

7) Cik Maizatul

Seorang kwn yg riang ria...Suke kasut and handbag...terbaru dia suka buat kek...tapi saye belum ada peluang lg nak rasa...Skrg tgh amik master dgn lecturer paling vogue di Fakulti Kejuruteraan UPM...hehe....Cik Mai masih single but not available...heheehe...

8) Cik Zla

Seorang lagi kwn dari zaman pengajian di UPM. Seorang yg cantik bergaya. Skrg ada part time business as makeup artist. Seorang yg pandai membuat business. Mana tumpahnye kuah kalau tak ke nasi...:-)...Cik ini sudah menjadi tunangan org...:-)...

9) Kak Nadiah

Kak Nadiah ni adalah senior saya yg merangkap rakan sekerja skrg nih..Dia baru jer lahirkan sorang bb comel bernama Mia Sarah...anak2 Kak Nadiah ni comel2 sgt...lawa mcm mak dia...hehehe...Kak Nadiah and saya mempunyai misi mencari tmpt sambung blaja and kami saje la tutor di KPM sem dpn sebab tutor lain dah start sambung master...kami yg agak ter'senior' sikit nih, masuk report duty memulakan tugas...hehe...Mari berusaha bersama2 yer!!!

10) Miss Dilla

Kwn zaman UPM juga...Cik Dilla adalah seorang yg manis orgnye...dia juga adalah masih single...:-)...

Hai everyone...well, as mentioned above, the Biro Tatanegara course has been postponed to 25th June until 29th June...so, I will be home this weekend..huhu...I've cancelled a lot of plans because at first I have to attend this course from Thursday (tomorrow) until next monday...but it has been postponed...btw, it has nothing to do with John..hehe...

So, I decided to fill up my time with reading...I haven't read novels for a long time since I started my masters study...Now it's the time to read...hehe...I chose to read a story entitled 'Dear John' by Nicholas Sparks...It's a love story...This story is one of the 4 stories compiled in Reader's Digest Select Editions which I purchased a few months ago...I asked mom to read them first and recommends which stories are worth reading...hehe...since mom was quite free last month, so she finished all the 4 stories in just a short time...ngehngeh...Thanks mom...:-)...

Ok...these words caught my interest to read this story first compared to the other 3 stories...

"When a man's a soldier, which comes first - his duty to the armed forces, or being with the woman he loves? John thought he knew. But then came September 11."

Hehe...so I wanna finish all the ten chapters in this story...Reading English books is a way to improve my English...To Firah and Jehan, kalau ada buku2 cerita best, plz recommend them to me okay..:-)...

2 Hari di KLCC

Salam peeps..last week I spent 2 days at KLCC..Wednesday and Thursday because of SMIDEC 2009..my fruit peeler di pamerkan kat situ under booth MOHE (Ministry of Higher Education)...but penyelidik adalah dialu2kn dtg sebab yg akan jaga products are staffs from RMC...so kami dtgla sekejap2 je...

Saye...

Selebihnya, kami berjalan2 melawat other booths...Antara booth yg menjadi kesukaan saye, mestila negeri Sarawak...sbb dpt cuci mata tgk kek lapis yg cantik2...and mmg dah plan dari awal utk beli bawak balik...hehe...

Kek lapis Sarawak yg menggoda...:-)..

Another booth yg menjadi kesukaan was negeri Perak...ni mcm ada tarikan magnet sikit utk pegi sbb my hubby org Perak...hehe...sesampainya dkt dpn booth, tetiba nampak makanan2 yg sgt best...ada gerai jual Rendang Tok dlm paket...haha...rasenye sedap pulak tu...cepat utk disediakan...hehe...so saye pun beli la jugak...ada jugak sambal tumis ikan bilis yg sedap..hehe..tapi sedap lagi yg saye buat kot...:p...ikut resepi mak mertua yg juga org Perak...:-D...

Sedapnye Rendang Tok!!!

2 hari berturut2 asik dtg dua2 booth negeri Sarawak and Perak to repeat purchases...hahahaha...bukannye senang nak jumpe barang2 ni sebab ada yg tak dijual kat KL..so saye pun amik contact number dua2 penjual...kek lapis tu nak beli lg utk raya tahun ni..:-)..

On Thursday, I met a friend of mine...Ninie...dia keje dgn Petronas...tapi sgt suka berbisnes...my first tudung Ekin D.I.Y, i beli from her blogshop la...hehe...so this was the first time kami berjumpa...she was a nice person...Thanks sbb belanja I my fav vanilla milk from The Coffee Bean ya Ninie...:-)....

Sebelum jumpe Ninie, sempat singgah Parkson utk beli kasut hitam from Lewre..minggu dpn nak gi BTN...so kena pakai kasut bertutup hitam...:-)...

Last Sunday, 31st May 2009 was my mother's birthday...May Allah bless her with a good life ahead...insyaAllah...We also celebrated mother's day too (dah terlepas dari tarikh tapi nak celebrate ibu, mmg tak perlu mengira masa dan waktu...)...

I had ordered a gorgeous cake from Kak Jun Cupcakekasih...Thanks so much Kak Jun...:-)...Chocolate cake with chocolate ganache spread in the middle...topped with white buttercream...pink roses and green leaves beautifully crafted from buttercream as well...I can't deny that Kak Jun is very talented...Mom was super happy...same goes to my siblings...hehehe....The cake was so delicious...wuwu...I'll definitely order from Kak Jun again...insyaAllah...:-)....

I'm waiting for Kak Jun to upload the cake pics in her blog...sbb lagi cantik dia guna kamera canggih...hehe...:-)...

Mom got a few pressies from her daughters and son...Me and hubby gave her something special...hehe...Ecah sent a bouquet of red roses which she ordered online...dia kan jauh...hehe...I believe that mom was so happy when she received the flowers...

Dine at Wong Solo, Bangi

Salam...last nite me and hubby went to Bangi for 'Jalan-jalan Cari Makan'. The destination for yesterday was Restoran Ayam Bakar Wong Solo...hehe...Actually yesterday I had chit-chatted with Dr. Jo and Dr. Hussain in the main office. Both of them live in Bangi..Dr Jo told us that Bangi is the best place to live in Malaysia...hehe...I can't agree more..I think Bangi has developed so much..:-)...

Then Dr. Hussain told us that he went to Wong Solo in Bangi. It's a restaurant sells Indonesian food including the ayam penyet and so on & so forth...Waa...sudah terasa lapar time tu..When I got home, terus ajak hubby to eat there. It's situated in Section 9 where Ariani Gallery and Old Town White Coffee situated. Az-Zahra and An-Nur are situated nearby. Section 9 is currently developing so fast...hehe...with the restaurants, spa, boutiques, etc...:-)..

Ok...last nite we arrived there at around 8 pm since we headed there after maghrib prayer. I ordered Pakej Ayam Penyet which includes rice, ayam penyet, tempe, sambal, air masak...Hubby ordered Nasi Goreng Ayam...For drinks, I ordered Honeydew juice and hubby ordered 'Jus Jagung Sakinah'...hehehe...

All of the food just cost RM 35.95. Both of the juices cost RM5.50..Ok la kan?..hehe...The treat was on me...Ayam penyet was delicious (this was the 1st time I ate ayam penyet..:p)..but the tempe was a bit salty..tapi abis jugak kutelan..:p..Hubby said that the chicken fried rice was good too...All the staffs there dressed in Indonesian outfit with the songkok and baju batik...hehe...The atmosphere is good for relaxing after a busy day at work..:-)...So, semua yg berhampiran dgn Bangi, can try to eat at Wong Solo. Dr. Hussain told me that there are only 3 branches in Malaysia including Bangi. It originated from Indonesia..:-)...

OK...I'm already hungry. Wanna go and eat at Bangi after this. But not at Wong Solo, at a restaurant near Wong Solo called Nasi Ulam...huhuhu...It sells Kelantanese food..so delicious...I went there with my office mates last week. It opens from 7 am to 3 am...lama betul...hehe...so today I want to introduce that restaurant to hubby..:-)...

Salam...hari ni agak relax...smlm dah siapkan poster untuk Dr.Farah...Dr.Farah tolong present kan my work di conference di USA...so saye tolong buatkan poster sebab saye yg lebih faham psl projek sendiri..dibantu oleh Dr. Farah jugak...so mlm td tido kul 1.30...me and my hubby tak lagi berkampung di ruang tamu...hehe...

Bangun2 je pagi td lepas solat subuh, sambung tido kejap sbb sakit mata semalaman hadap laptop...so lepas bangun balik, saye pun pegi mandi, buat susu utk minum and bukak internet...Baca blog org lain...cuci mata kat shopping blog...hehe...aim hari ni ialah utk search tmpt nak sambung skolah...dah jumpe dah tmpt tapi saje nak cari2 lg...:-)...but, smpai saat saye tulis blog ni, option yg ada masih same mcm before ni...hmm...siap buat comparison chart utk pro & contrast for each option...kihkih...sebagai engineer, mmg kami telah dilatih utk membuat cara penyelesaian masalah...ni la salah satu cara utk selesaikan masalah...rasenye tak perlu sebarang calculation kot...hehe..:p...

Sepanjang surf internet, TV mmg asik terpasang...favourite programme di pagi hari mestilah anime kat Astro Ceria...slalunye pukul 10 buka Postman Pat kat NTV7...tapi hari ni takde pulak...so tgk Ninja Nantama Rintaro kat Astro Ceria...lepastu Hagemaru...lepas tu my long time favourite, Detective Conan...hehe...sebenarnye, stiap hari pun mcm ni...tapi dont be surprise...saye tak menonton, tapi mendengar je kartun2 tu bercakap...hehe...mata and tangan still membuat kerja...duduk kat dapur basuh pinggan and memasak pun, telinga mmg dgr TV...tgknye tak...hehe...mmg dah biasa buat so many things at a time...pukul 12 bukak TV3 Wanita Hari Ini...kalau ada topik2 best yg diorg discuss, baru dtg betul2 duduk dpn TV...kalau tak. mata terpaku di laptop ataupun duduk kat dapur...btw, dapur and ruang tamu bersambung...haha...biase la umah kecik jer..hehe...Hubby akan sampai umah pukul 1 lebih...lepastu kami lunch together...lepas tu hubby pi ofis balik...saye masih buat aktiviti same...pukul 2.30 cerita Upik Abu dan Laura kat Tv3..sambung terus cerita Lalola (dulu Marina)...sampai la ke petang cerita Matahari and sampai la malam...begitulah TV menemani saye membuat kerja...boring je kalau umah senyap duduk sorang2...hehe...tapi nanti dah report duty bln 7, takde la mcm ni lg...:-)...

Petang td tibe2 rajin utk buat makanan utk makan petang...so saye goreng karipap sardin and samosa....bukan uli sendiri...segera punye...kehkeh...rasenye sedap...mcm beli kat kedai...lepas ni bole bli lg...tak goreng byk pun sbb kami berdua je yg mkn...kang dinner nak mkn lagi..hehe...saye harus beringat bahawa saye telah meningkat 'maju' memakai saiz L skrg...hehehe...dulu pakai M atau S pun ok jer...hehe...skrg nak kene cover2 sikit...:p...utk minuman petang saye buat teh berperisa oren...:-)...Hubby tersenyum smpai telinga balik2 keje je tgk ada makanan utk dimakan...hehe...

Ahad lepas kami pegi shopping barang2 makanan and keperluan utk bulan 6...biase la..setiap hujung bulan kan...kebetulan Jusco buat sale from 22th May until 14th June...apa lg...mcm2 promo la yg ade...kebetulan The Body Shop pun buat sale besar-besaran setahun sekali up to 70% for selected items from 22 May until 14 June jugak...same mcm Jusco...utk member bole dpt extra 10% if beli from 22 May to 24 May...so saye pun belila ape2 yg patut...mcm syampu and body shower gel...syampu mmg saye pakai brand ni...body shower gel tu beli yg kecik2 punye...utk bawak travelling...50% utk papaya punye...hehe..ape lg, mmg beli la..bukan senang nak sale mcm ni...

Saye mmg suke gune The Body Shop punye barang2 sbb bahan2 yg digunakan adalah semulajadi...tak byk chemicals mcm yg lain...and setiap pembelian, akan dpt point...RM1 = 1 point..bile dah sampai 300 pts, akan dpt redeem RM30 kalau tak silap...so mmg untung kalau beli benda rm35..bayar rm5 je la nanti...hehe...best2...Saye pun dlm sesi utk berjimat...jadi nak mula stop pakai kosmetik yg berjenama and costly...but saye pengguna setia SKII for facial cleanser and Miracle water...bende ni tahan lama...setahun 2 kali je beli...pakai jimat2...:-)...saye beli 2-way cake foundation The Body Shop yg harganya amat2la berbaloi...buat mase ni pakai Christian Dior...tapi sbb dah tinggal dlm 30%, so bole la beli yg baru...So nak cuba la body shop punye pulak...texture powder ni best jugak..skrg ni kosmetik yg saye gunakan mmg dah byk yg The Body Shop punye...warna sgt cantik...texture pun same...lipliner and lipstick mmg cantik pada mata saye...lotion and shower gel or cream mmg wangi...body butter and Spa Wisdom dia...wuwuwuwwu..mmg best..:-)...

Ok selepas gi The Body Shop, kami pun shopping bli brg dapur...selepas 5 bulan lebih berkahwin, kami sudah dpt berjimat dlm beli brg2 dapur...awal2 kawin dulu, mcm2 kene beli nak lengkapkan umah ni...tapi skrg ni, alhamdulillah...bole berjimat dah sbb hampir semua dah ada...:-)...life terasa lebih dirahmati berbanding dulu...Dekat Jusco, saye sgt excited sbb byk barang2 yg kami selalu beli spt Oligo Coco, Marigold HL Milk and Marigold Peel Fresh ada free gift...hahaha...jadi dptla 1 mug (bergmbr Doraemon), 1 tumbler and cereal bar secara free...:-)...

Salam...2 weeks ago, me, hubby, mom, Sarah and Hakim went to Tok's house in Permatang Pauh, Penang...We were so happy to get back to Penang again and see our beloved Tok....Mom, me and Hakim were born in Penang...hehe..We went there on Saturday and went back to KL on Monday...

On the first day of arrival, nothing much to be done...We went to my aunt's house in Kulim, Kedah guided by Cik Mah (Mom's youngest sister)...On the way to Kulim, mom ask Cik Mah to take us to her old school...Convent Bukit Mertajam (her primary school) and Convent Kulim (her secondary school)...We also went to her grandmother or our ancestor's house in Kulim...We just saw the house from outside only...hehe...This was where mom and all her siblings grew up when my late grandfather (Megat Hashim) pursued his studies in University of Malaya...This is the pic of the house...yg tinggal kat situ skrg ni adalah saudara jauh....

Tok is a Siamese and she was adopted by her aunt (mom's grandma) who's also a Siamese and married to an Arabian man...So, my mom is half Siamese...and me, quarter Siamese...hahaha...

On the second day, I took Sarah and Hakim to visit Penang Island...pusing satu pulau...Thanks to hubby's GPS...we didn't get lost at all...hehe...Mom wanted to bring my siblings to Feringhi beach...but to our astonishment, they weren't many people there...don't know why...at first we planned to stop there but then we cancelled the plan...We moved further to Telok Bahang...after seeing a food stall and noticing that there were few cars stopping there, we decided to go to the beach...still there weren't so many people there...according to mom, last time, all the beaches were so crowded with people...takpelah...janji dpt pegi pantai...hehe...

After that, hubby wanted to go to his old school...MRSM Balik Pulau...and again, thanks to the GPS...hubby was so happy to step his foot there once again after a few years...hehe...he was so surprised to see his class has been changed to a computer lab...kuikui...saye telah menjadi jurugambar yg setia..snapping all his pics...hehe...kasi chance la kan..:p...

After that, we went back to Seberang Perai (Tok's house)...we had our lunch at one of the stall at Bandar Perda..lauk banyak...harga pun murah...hehe...after arriving at Tok's home, Cik Mah was ready to take us to my cousin's house in Sungai Petani...but I was so tired at that time..plus my head kept thinking about my thesis that need to be corrected and finalized...wanted to submit it asap since I wanna catch the senate meeting in June as I mentioned in my previous entries...hehe...so, only mom, tok, cik mah and uncle zali went to SP...

Waktu mlm tu, kami borak2 dgn tok...umur tok dah nak dkt 80...tapi masih sihat mcm dulu...baca surat khabar...favourite tv programme, mestila berita...same mcm my late grandfather...tok cerita itu, cerita ini...sampai nak dkt pukul 2 lebih...hehe...then we off to bed...:-)...

On our last day there, mom bought our long time favourite breakfast...nasi lemak ikan bilis and ikan masin 60 sen...wuwuwu...dah lame tak mkn...all my cousins love this nasi lemak too...mak also cooked for lunch...plus, tok masak!!!...rindunye nak makan masakan tok...tok masak kari ikan keli...lepas tu, kami pun rehat2 tgk tv (mereka sahaja...saye menghadap laptop siapkn keje)...huhu...

We made our move at 4 pm...sebelum gerak, kami bergambar2 dulu dkt halaman umah...rindunye zaman kanak2 dulu berlari2 kat kwsn halaman umah yg agak luas gak la...

Salam all...it's been a very long time since last entry..ahaks...padahal baru last week jer...:p...i was so busy correcting my thesis...alhamdulillah I've submitted the thesis yesterday..hope still can catch the senate meeting in june...kalau tak, takde rezeki nak masuk list konvo tahun ni...huhu...diorang terima masuk list konvo berdasarkan nama yg ada pada senate meeting november 2008 until june 2009...kalau takde rezeki konvo tahun ni pun takpe...still dpt master degree gaks...hehe...

Siang td (Khamis pagi), I had attended an interview for international patent application...supervisor dtg lmbt siang td because she had a faculty meeting...so I had to start the presentation alone...huhuh...amatla menakutkan...tapi aku buat muka slambe jer...panel asal2 nye ada 7 org..tapi atas sebab2 ramai yg bz, maka yg ada hanya 2 org...leganye rase mase tau ade 2 org jer...the 1st panel was Dato' S***** and the 2nd panel was Dr.K****i...Dr. K****i tu orang Japan...mestila diorg sgt berteknologi tinggi kan...huhu...

My explanation about the concept was short because I had a video about our machine that described the operation of the machine...sudah satu selamat di situ...okay setelah selesai video, mule la sesi soal menjawab...huhu...Dato' S was OK at first...tapi bile Dr. K tanye soalan, terus Dato' S ter'trigger' utk tanye soalan2 yg lebih kurang same mcm Dr.K...huhu...penatnye jawab...dlm hati, "Dr. Siti plz come now"...huhuhu...bile aku dah hampir hilang kata2, akhirnye Dr. Siti came for rescue...legaaa time tu...hehehe...

Soalan2 yg ditanye mestila psl merit apparatus yg kami reka ni dibandingkan dgn previous design yg terdapat di pasaran...akhirnye mereka berpuas hati dgn penerangan kami tentang mesin tu yg bersifat 3 in 1...it can grate, peel and cut fruits and vegetables...hahaha...i've explained about these 3 functions to them but they didn't seem to get it...and they kept asking the same questions..ropanya, I have forgotten to mention the 'keramat' word 3 in 1...kuikuikui...actually we must highlight what is the difference between our product and other similar products available out there...so later in the patent document, kene include psl ni...:-)...

Ok la...I didn't prepared much for this presentation because I was told by Dr. Siti to represent her a day before the presentation (Rabu)...huhuh..mana ade mood..baru settle anta correction..otak pun serabut2 jer...hehe...but I'm feeling grateful that everything is settled now...the correction and also the patent interview....

We have filed the apparatus for patent in Malaysia last year...masih patent pending...so UPM Research Management Center asked us to try to file for international patent...jadi cuba nasib...hehe...so Dato' S asked me to keep the video in the laptop at the meeting room because he wanted to show it to the panel from UK...they will evaluate the application I guess...hehehe...

OK...hajat di hati nak story psl kisah balik Penang...tapi dah termelalut psl ni pulak...weekend ni nak relax2 jer...so bole la update psl kisah balik Penang...hubby pulak ada kursus esok smpai sabtu...so saye akan balik umah mak di Cheras...takut dok umah sorang2...kuikuikui....

Salam all...hehe...di saat ini, saye sedang merehatkan otak sebentar...dari weekend aritu dok buat correction..skrg ni dah 90%...lmbt sungguh pergerakan...mood kurengg...tapi kugagahkan jua...tapi bile tersedar yg esok dah Rabu, maka langkah proaktif harus diambil utk siapkn cepat...huhuh...so mlm ni harus ada caffeine-kick sket..baru mata tak ngantok dah...tadi buatla hazelnut coffee+ovaltine...terpaksa campur ovaltine utk kurangkn kesan caffeine...saye tak bole sgt consume caffeine byk2...hehe...mlm ni hubby pun tido lmbt...siap dah bentang tilam+bantal kat ruang tamu...nak temankan saye buat keje...thanks B...muahhh!...

Ni saje je nak story psl aktiviti selepas viva...hehe...lepas je viva, terus merehatkan diri selama 2 hari...kuikui...takmo buat ape2...nak release stress...pegi shopping+makan...best betul rasenye...makan dgn penuh perasaan mcm takde masalah dlm kepala...:-)...

Rabu mlm di Alamanda...selepas viva...hehe..

Khamis mlm...di Alamanda juga..terjumpa dgn Dr. Shaf dgn hubby dia kat food court...hehe..seronok tgk org baru kahwin..(^_^)...

Ais kacang yg begitu tinggi and yummy skali...makan dekat Hot Soup and Bun di Bangi...hari Sabtu...

Sempat singgah Ariani Bangi belikan tudung utk my office mate...beli sehelai utk diri sendiri gak...(^_^)v...tapi beli warna yg takde lg la...hehe...

Tu je la aktiviti yg dibuat sebelum duduk tegak dekat kerusi depan laptop and bersengkang mata...huhuhu...caiyokk Aliaa...

13 Mei genapla 5 bulan saye bergelar isteri org...bile tgk balik video kawin, mesti rase nak sanding skali lg...heheh...later bole letak video nikah kat sini...puas hati sebab dpt letak lagu Mencintaimu by Kris Dayanti utk video nikah...and lagu Aku dan Dirimu (Ari Lasso & BCL) utk video sanding...dlm video sanding tu ada jugak lagu lain yg ditambah sendiri oleh videographer tu such as Dibius Cinta (Yusry & Melly), Hero (Enrique Iglesias), and beberapa lg...lagu2 yg up-to-date...nanti2 bile anak2 atau cucu2 tanye, bole la saye ckp ni lagu2 popular zaman mama/mak tok kawin...hehehe...mak tok?...:p...LOL...

Videographer ni sgtla bermurah hati...video kahwin kami agak panjang..puasla tgk semua tetamu yg hadir...selalunye video pendek je and harga mahal jugak...tapi Abg Omm sgt baik...hehe...Thanks so much...(^_^)v...sape2 nak cari videographer, saye recommend Abg Omm...:-)...

13 Mei juga is my sis birthday...Happy Birthday Sarah...wait for the present k...hehe...

Salam all...this morning I had my Viva Voce...I was preparing for it for about a week I guess...I've gone thru everything that it takes to complete this...and alhamdulillah I passed the Viva with minor corrections...(^_^)v...I was so grateful...All the examiners congratulated us (my supervisor and I) for coming up with a very gud piece of work...thanks for the compliments~~~

But there are some technical corrections that need to be done in terms of the thesis writing...ada yg tersilap sikit here and there...We should write the thesis in PAST TENSE okay...but I made a slight mistake by writing up some words in my Chapter 3 (the one on the design of machine) in present tense...kihkih...what happened to me when i was writing them...entah...aku pun dah tak ingat...kuikuikui...What ever it is, I've passed the Viva...alhamdulillah...

I want to thank my supervisor, Dr.Siti Mazlina Mustapa Kamal for her support during the completion of the thesis...without her moral support, I don't think I would go this far...Thanks again for always treating me nicely...organizing a writing course for us at Royal Bintang last year..Thanks so much...We had spent time together going to spa and shopping too...:p...hehe...although sometimes I wasn't very productive, she put her trust in me that I have the capability to do it...hehe..biasala kdg2 tu ada breakdown di tengah2 perjalanan...but I'm so thankful that I have gone thru all the obstacles without falling down...Ameen...:-)...Thanks also to Dr. Farah Saleena Taip for the constructive comments and all the supports given...

Salam all...after berpenatan sepanjang last weekend, travelling from KL to Ipoh to my sis-in-law house and back to Ipoh and KL, badanku ini terasa amatla penat...plus sempat jugak buat presentation slides for the 'V' Day...and also baca thesis drafts of final year students...hehe...

Mase on the way to my sis-in-law house, my father-in-law tanye, 'Aliaa tak pening ke membaca dalam kereta?'...hehe...sebenarnye dah terbiasa...I still ingat kata2 my lecturer, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Hussain Salleh...dia kata supervisor dia masa kat US dulu ckp, kene biase kan diri membaca walau kat mane kite berada termasukla dlm kereta...wlpn pening, but u must get used to it...hehe...so kawan2, rajin2 la membaca k...supaya otak kita sentiasa diasah and masa kite tak terbazir macam tu saje...(^_^)v...

Smlm dari Ipoh, sempat singgah kejap kat Jakel Simpang Pulai beli kain...pastu terus gerak balik KL...lepas tu anta my mom-in-law kat Plaza Hotel KL sbb dia ada kursus...lepas check-in, bawa dia ke Sogo beli makanan...So hubby and me canceled our plan nak shopping barang2 dapur kat Jusco...instead, kami beli kat Sogo jer...hehe...lepas anta mak mertua balik ke hotel, kami terus balik rumah kat UPM...bagi ikan makan jap (sbb risau kot2 diorang mati ke ape kan) and amik parcels kat luar rumah (they're mine of course...:p...)...lepas tu terus ke suatu tempat yg baru buka di Bangi before heading to my mom house in Cheras...heheheh...dah lame diriku menanti pembukaan kedai ini.....Tadaaa...

Ini dia Ariani Gallery yg baru saje dibuka kat Bangi...lepas ni senangla org2 kawasan sini nak pegi...tak payah pegi KL punye...last week I went to Ariani Mutiara Damansara...alang2 pegi IKEA, pegi terus la ke Ariani cawangan sane...gune GPS lagi...haha...nasibla hubby ku ini sporting sgt...(^_^)...dekat sane dah tapau beberapa helai...so kat Ariani Bangi ni saye beli 2 -tone chiffon plain shawl and inner tudung...hehe...dpt diskaun 12% sebab dah jadi member mase kat Damansara...Ini dia set inner and shawl yg saye beli...sebijik mcm ni sebab saye nak yg sebijik mcm patung ni pakai...sbb stok utk both inner and shawl ni dah abis...hehe...so staf dia kena la buka tudung kat patung ni...kuikuikui...

Selepas bersungguh2 'menuntut ilmu' dgn staf2 nye cara2 nak pakai shawl, baru la melangkah keluar kedai...hari tu dah blaja kat Damansara tapi saje je seronok2 nak suruh diorg ajar...hehe...ok...kali ni hasil tuaian sikit je...sbb dah byk dah koleksi...saje nak try Ariani punye...:-)...

Last 2 weeks beli tudung full lycra A****i...but I'm very dissapointed with the quality of the jahitan dkt awning tudung...tak kemas...and the material used is fair in quality...I've tried other brands before..Sri Munawwarah, DeZahra and Nur Barakah...I can recommend that DeZahra quality is better than A****i...DeZahra full lycra tudung is much2 better...the quality of the material is really good...and you'll look really nice when u wear it...I've recommended it to my friends also...sesiapa yg belum penah try tudung DeZahra, u can try...then u can compare the quality with A****i...FYI, I will send my A****i full lycra for repair...haha...nasibla ada sorang Sis ni baik hati nak repairkan...Thanks Kak...:-)...smlm tgk full lycra kat A****i Bangi pun same jugak jahitannye...so mmg diriku ini tidak tersalah beli la hari tu...

Latest personal research saye ialah terhadap brand2 tudung yg terdapat kat Malaysia ni...hehehe...lepas ni bole buat review pasal semua2 tudung2 ni...DeZahra, Sri Munawwarah, Hajaba, Ariani and Nur Barakah...cewah mcm nak tulis review paper anta kat journal pulak..hehe...and not to forget other D.I.Y tudung yg kualiti nye mmg setanding and lagi baik dari yg butik punye...so my friends, we need to spend our money in the smartest way...beli yg kualiti tinggi dengan harga berpatutan...:-)...tudung butik ni mmg mahal...tapi pandai2 la k...beli yg termampu ok la...just to try and have personal experience on it...:-)...

Salam...dah lama rasenye tak tulis entry baru...quite bz recently...rite now I'm preparing for my Master's Viva (Defence) that will be held on 6th May 2009....dupdapdupdap...After 2 years struggling for the best, now it's the time to present and defend my work...

I'm not pushing myself too hard..just relax and browsing thru my thesis leisurely...I've been focusing on this thesis for about two years...and I feel that now is not the time to crack my brain anymore for everything is in place...the objectives of my study; the design of machine; the optimization of enzymatic clarification (I've been dedicating my soul for this chapter for quite a long time...this is the thickest chapter in my thesis...it has contributed 3 journals for me so far...alhamdulillah); development of process flow sheet and finally the conclusions and recommendations for future research...alhamdulillah...I managed to synchronize all the chapters well to become a thesis...

Yesterday I have marked the exam papers of Process Plant Design course taught by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nordin...he asked me to help him mark the papers and I agreed without any hesitation...although I'm still in my study leave, I was more than happy to help him...I'd helped him last year to teach this subject...although I'm just a tutor, but I was honoured that he gave me a chance to join him advising the students about the projects that he gave them...this was my favourite subject during my undergraduate studies and i did my final year project on the design and development of food processing plant under his supervision...He is my idol...He is the best in his area...I'm honoured to work with the founder of my course, Process and Food Engineering...:-)...

I think he will get the Professor title very soon...tau la UPM kan...byk requirements yg harus dipenuhi...I'm very happy to hear that Dr. Chin Nyuk Ling skrg ni dah jadi Ir. Dr. Chin Nyuk Ling...soon akan tambah title Associate Professor kat dpn tu...antara lecturer perempuan yg berjaya di usia semuda 33 tahun I guess...She is my role model too...:-)...She is my super senior...grad hujung 1990-an rasenye...siapa kate food engineer tak bole dpt Ir...Ir. Dr. Chin has proved it!!!..(^_^)v...

Ok back to the story...Marking exam papers is not an easy task...it's very challenging...every student answered the questions differently...the dedicated students answered them correctly while the not-so-dedicated student, ya ampunnn....mcm2 jawapan...like they never studied this subject since the very beginning of this course...hmm....yg buat careless mistakes pun ada...padahal bole dapat full marks...yg confuse dgn the methods of calculations pun ada...but I'm very proud of the students who scored full marks in that papers...Process Plant Design is quite a challenging topic...it requires u to think and analyse the situation given before you proceed with the calculation...byk method yg bole digunakan...that's why byk student yg confuse...but I believe that in everything that we do, if we are crystal clear about our objective and mission, we'll not get lost in our journey...:-)...

OK....petang ni nak gi office jap anta balik semua kertas kat Dr. Nordin...and start to do the presentation slides...hehe...weekend ni nak lawat my sister-in-law kat Perlis...so need to plan and organize my schedule...i plan to check a thesis draft of one final year student this weekend jugak...so harus mendisiplinkan diri supaya dpt siapkan semua kerja...bagus jugak kat kolej ni tak dpt buka ym skrg...kurangla sikit distractions..hehe...

Salam all...today is 13th of april...25 years ago, a girl named Nur 'Aliaa binti Abd Rahman was born on Friday, 13th April 1984...and today, she is celebrating her 25th birthday for the first time as a wife of Mohd Hafizul bin Ismail...

Today is a very2 special day for me because I've been married to my hubby for 4 months...we got married on 13th December 2008...So many gud things in one day...:-)...

I love my hubby so much...I have these as my birthday presents from my loving hubby....

1) A set of gorgeous, cute and beatiful cupcakes with shopaholic theme...hubby ordered from Kak Jun Cupcakekasih...look at those gorgeous handbags, dresses, shoes and lips...huhuh...sgt terharu...I love the white Chanel handbag...(^_^)v.....Sayang kat Kak Jun...muaxxxx!!

2) A new Guess watch...love this so much...I've been dreaming for a new watch for a long time...hehehe...at last hubby bought it for me...yay!!!...I love the pink heart shaped casing...

Can you feel that the love is all around...hehe...Last Saturday, I met my besties since Asasi (UM)...Jehan and Farah...we hang out at Chilis, Mid Valley...diorg blanje makan...heheh...I love them to bits!

And Jehan gave me this present...hehe...Plz take a close look at the website address...La Senza UK tau...hehehe...she bought it when she was still in London...I love you so much J!

Tioman Island Part 1...

Salam all...i feel that it has been a long time since my last entry...hehehe...so today, on a peaceful Wednesday morning, i wish to write up something on my 'vacation' to Tioman Island...

I went to Tioman Island last Thursday...this was Tenth College activity so all the MTM (Majlis Tertinggi Mahasiswa) and all the staffs were going there...we headed to Mersing jetty since we needed to take a ferry to go to Tioman Island...

In the bus

At around 8.45 p.m., we departed for Mersing by UPM buses...wehehe..dah lame tak naik bas UPM...dulu same dgn kwn2...skrg dgn suami...:p...we arrived at Mersing jetty at 1.30 a.m...after going thru such a challenging journey...huhuh...the bus driver took the Bukit Putus-Kuala Pilah-Muadzam Shah-Mersing route...jalan lama!!!!...jalan dekat Bukit Putus tu, ya ampunnnn...berpusing2..ade yg nearly 360 degree tau!...cuakk je semua org...huhuhu...ramai jugak yg pening2 kepala sbb bas melantun2...just imagine the conditions of the roads...amatla sempit dan tak sekata...despite all the challenges, we managed to arrive at the jetty..alhamdulillah...:-)...

At Mersing Jetty

We went to Tioman Island by ferry at 3 a.m. in the morning and arrived there at 5 a.m..sepanjang 2 jam tu, semua org tido..sebab tak dpt tido sepanjang dlm bas...almaklumla mcm naik roller coaster kan...although i dont know how it feels like naik roller coaster since i'm penakut!!!...haha...

The first place yg berpenghuni kat pulau tu is Kampung Genting...chalet kami terletak kat Kampung Genting...tempat lain mcm Pulau Tekek, semua jauh lagi...dlm 20 minutes jarak melalui laut...sesampainye kat Kampung Genting, hujan renyai2 menyambut kedatangan kami (cewahh ayat)...dah hampir subuh dah waktu tu...keadaan amatla gelap...tapi dlm kegelapan tu, tetap nmpk kejernihan air laut tu di bawah sinaran bulan sepanjang kami berjalan atas jambatan di jeti tu...bayangkan betapa jernihnye air laut tu...:-)...

Kami menginap di Genting Bayu Chalet...mula2 masa dah jejak darat, ingatkan terus sampai chalet..but the first building yg kami nmpk was Balai Raya Kampung Genting in front of us and Klinik Desa Kampung Genting...where is the chalet??? semua budak2 dah tanye2 sesama sendiri...yg dah penah smpai kat situ is Dr.Azlizam (pengetua kolej 10)....he told us that we need to walk 500m from there to the chalet...what???..setengah kilo tu berjalan...maka berkilo2 la kalori yg terbakar...lucky us (me and my hubby) for packing our stuffs in a backpack...kalau yg bawak beg roda ala2 akademi fantasia tu, mmg 'selamat' la...hehe...kena lalu jalan kecik...kawasan yg berhutan...titi kecik...semua tu dilalui dlm keadaan yg samar2...ada lampu sikit je sepanjang jalan...bayangkan...agak horror gak la waktu tu...hehe...

At last we managed to arrive at the chalet...lepas dah diberi brief expalanations and given the room key, all of us went to our rooms, solat subuh and tido terus...i decided not to go for breakfast at 8 a.m. since i prefer sleeping to eating...hehe...so we woke up at 12.30 p.m....puasla tido...mandi and went for lunch...bile dah siang baru la nmpk keseluruhan...although the chalet was not grand as other chalets or resorts or hotels, but the facilities were sufficient...it nestles in the humbleness of Kampung Genting...very2 basic and simple place to live in...I kept thinking how does it feels to live in this place...hmmm...

Btw, maxis langsung takde coverage kat situ...yg ade hanye Celcom saje...full bar lagi...Digi Bersamamu pun takde line!!!...haha...i can't stand the situation where my handphone is not 'functioning'...i kept babbling to hubby on how i can't live without my handphone functioning for 3 days until Sunday...huhu...at last I asked one of the village girl who works at the chalet where can i get a Celcom simpack...haha...rupenye kat kedai depan sekali sebelah Balai Raya...malam semalam tak nmpk mcm ade kedai pun kat situ...semua tutup kan pukul 5 pagi...hehe...

Tgh berjalan2, nmpk motor SpongeBob ni...so cute!

So hubby pun teman la jalan kaki ke kedai to buy the simpack..hehe...baru la nmpk kwsn tu keseluruhan...hehe...mmg kecik je laluan...kereta mmg takde langsung kat situ...motosikal je ade...kami pun beli la makanan ringan sikit, tgk2 souvenirs kat kedai and balik chalet..

The first day there weren't much activities to do...hubby went for snorkelling with the students and staffs..and isteri2 dudukla bersembang di tepi pantai..hehe...rase mcm pelik la...dulu mase student bole la buat perangai budak2...tapi sebab dah kawin, kena behave la...baru la sedar yg i'm getting older...hehe..wlpn ade je budak2 K10 yg lagi tua dari kami, tapi tetap ade perbezaan since we're married and budak2 tu still bujang...hehe...

Lepas tu ade sukaneka utk budak2...bukan anak staff ye...tapi budak2 K10...hehe...diorg sgtla happening...seronok je tgk....semua lelaki and sgtla bising menceriakan keadaan...:-)..tergelak jugak tgk diorg...they should enjoy that beautiful moment together...sbb bila dah graduate nanti, keadaan dah lain sikit...hehe...

Waktu mlm, lepas dinner ade opening ceremony...lepas tu saye pun balikla bilik...all the students still ade aktiviti diorg sendiri...i chose to sleep early since we will be going for island hopping on the next day..yeehaa...:p..

Salam...entry ni terhasil utk hilangkan rasa mengantuk yg teramat sgt time tgh menaip proposal tadi...hehe...tgh hari nanti nak pack barang2...mlm ni nak bertolak ke Tioman Island..ade family day utk staff kolej 10...my husband is one of K10's fellow...hehe...so berjalan free la ni kirenye...:p..

Last week we went to Malacca because hubby had seminar there...sikit je gambar yg diambil...one of them is the picture below...time tgh nak lunch...hehe...

Asik makan je bile pegi kursus...mmg menggemukkan...hehe...

Memandangkan nak pegi Pulau Tioman ni, kite kena la pakai kasut yg sesuai...bukanla heels or wedges seperti yg biase saye lakukan before ni...hehe...kasut sport lame zaman student2 dulu dah terkoyak...jadi mesti la ada kasut baru utk pakai kat kawasan pantai nanti...hehe...so yesterday hubby and me went to al-ikhsan Bangi to buy shoes for me...hehe..

Tapi dlm gambar ni ade 2 kasut...kasut sebelah lagi tu saye hadiahkan utk hubby for his birthday...wlpn dah lepas dah birthday dia and already gave him a pair of boot, but surprised!!!..hehe...both of these shoes are from Adidas brand...wlpn kasut saye tu tak mcm kasut sport,tapi ok la kan...sekurangnye bole bawak jalan2 lain kali...hehe...sebenarnye tak berape minat nak beli sport shoes...:p...

Utk org yg amat susah utk pilih kasut mcm saye ni sbb bukan semua kasut saye bole pakai, kasut ni saye rase sesuai sbb tapak dia ada foam yg dipanggil FitFoam yg dpt support tapak kaki saye yg cepat sakit...huhu...sebelum ni, pakai wedges from Bata je sbb itu paling sesuai since tapak dia dipanggil ComFit...ni pun lembut je...selain tu, saye ade jugak Crocs wedges & Lewre sandal yg bertapak lembut...hehe..itu saje la kasut2 saye...tapi yg paling slalu pakai, Bata tu la...hehe...at least dpt berjimat dari satu segi...:p...

OK...kat bawah ni adalah gambar tudung kegemaran saye dari jenama deZAHRA...tudung ni ada dua tone warna...kainnye jenis baldu...sgt lembut and selesa dipakai...moreover, colour tudung ni akan nmpk berbeza dari angle2 yg berlainan bile kena cahaya...hehe...warna sebenar dark purple with blue stripes...tapi kadang2 nmpk mcm hitam bergantung pada cahaya...cewahhh...description lebih2 lak..ape2 pun, ni tudung favourite saye..:-)...

Tudung Lover...(^_^)v...

Salam all...i just want to share my story about the fashion of hijab nowadays...there are so many tudung's boutiques widely opened in Malaysia...Sri Munawwarah, Ariani and Hajaba are the examples of the brands available today...I also bought a few hijabs from Sri Munawwarah and Hajaba...the quality is undeniable although the price is quite high...but still affordable...

I realize that there are so many hijabs being sold at pasar malam at a cheaper price...I've also tried to buy one at Nilai 3 at only rm15...the colour is nice but the quality is really poor...maybe some people might say "Buat apa beli mahal2...buang duit je...baik beli yg murah kat pasar mlm."...hmm...but in my opinion, if u have extra money, why don't u buy something that is high in quality and will stay in good condition after being used for so many times...unlike the cheap tudung, after u washed them for a few times, the material started to crinkle, the threads started to loose and the awning (bahagian keras dpn tudung) started to 'senget benget'...hahaha...I am not going to buy those cheap tudung anymore for I felt that I'm wasting my money and if i gave them to other people, they will also face the difficulty of wearing and maintaining them...

Apart of this branded hijabs, there are also hijabs that are called Tudung D.I.Y...hehe...this kind of hijabs are of the same quality as Ariani and Sri Munawwarah...It is called D.I.Y. because it's being made by individual who sew the tudung by themselves....they bought the materials for the hijab at a few textile shops...kelas utk membuat tudung D.I.Y ni banyak juga diadakan...menarik...I feel like joining this class...but i still dont have much time at this moment...hehe...the price is slightly cheaper than those branded hijabs...maybe because the sellers dont need to pay for the shops rent...hehe...but the quality is high since the material used are the same as the branded one...actually it depends on the seller...if they know the meaning of beauty, they will know what to do..they dont buy any low grade materials...:p...

Recently, I have found a new brand of hijab known as deZahra...the shop is located at Mutiara Damansara...it's still new but many celebrities have worn this tudung...Ayu Raudhah wore deZahra hijab in 'Sampai Menutup Mata' drama...Nabila Huda wore deZahra hijab during her solemnization...really beautiful...salah seorang pembaca berita TV3 pun pakai tudung deZahra...the material is nice...masa pegi butik hari tu, ramai betul org beli tudung ni...deZahra also have their dealers...so beli dari dealer lg senang...takyah gi jauh2...tapi tudung ni mahal...I've ordered one from the Kajang's dealer to try...but I've noticed that one of the tudung at deZahra is the same as one of my D.I.Y hijab...sebijik!!!...hehe...so mmg sah la org kat butik beli kain yg same dgn D.I.Y hijab's seller...kihkih...but the boutique sells at higher price...they claim that the quality of the jahitan is good...takpe,nanti saye try bile dpt...hehe...

Another popular brand that I haven't tried yet is Ariani...hehehe...punye la popular tudung ni tp tak penah smpai kat butik dia kat jalan bunus tu...nanti la when i have time...tudung ni juga terkenal sebab menggunakan Ekin sebagai model...

The prices of Hajaba, Sri Munawwarah, Ariani, deZahra and D.I.Y. ranging from Rm55 to RM100++...tapi deZahra ade yg melebihi rm200...hehehe...mahal benor mcm tu...yg RM55 smpai RM95 pun dah cantik dah...:-)...

Salam all...yesterday (21st of March) was my hubby's birthday...we went to One Utama to buy his birthday pressie and to dine there...:-)...

Saya membuat keputusan utk blanje dia mkn nasi berlauk sebab suami saye tak brape mkn sgt kek and dia lagi suke makan nasi....hehehehe...setiap kali beli kek,mmg dia mkn sikit je and yg bahagian yg lebih besar tu,saye la yg makan...tu yg badan semakin berisi tuh..kihkih...last year we celebrated at Equatorial Hotel Bangi...and I surprised him with a big chocolate cheesecake specially made by Equatorial's chef...cewahhh...hubby was so happy...nasibla dia suka chocolate...dia layan jugakla cake tu...

For this year's birthday, both of us decided to buy anything that one of us wants for birthday...Hubby really wanted a new football boot...dia lagi rela beli football boot dari blanje makan...hehe...tp xknla pulak xblanje makan kan...tak syokla mcm tu...:p...

So,misi kami mencari boot kesukaan hubby bermula dari isnin lepas lg sbb saye yg nak pegi awal to survey for the boot...pada saye,biarla dia beli boot yg dia betul2 suke...jadi kami pergi pusing seluruh MidValley and The Gardens...masuk setiap kedai sukan yg ade..but to my astonishment, mmg takde yg best...huhuh...so kami pun balik rumah without buying anything from there...from Tuesday sampai la ke Friday,mmg byk keje and tak sempat langsung nak keluar jauh2..so hubby kate nak pegi kedai sukan al-ikhsan kat bangi nak tgk kot2 ade yg best...hmm,takde jugak kat situ...we ended up buying pizza at San Francisco Pizza...hehe...

So,semalam la baru saye buat keputusan nak gi cari kat One Utama...rasenye kat situ mesti ade punye...so dlm kul 1 p.m. smlm,kami pun pegi ke One Utama...nasibla dpt parking,ramai betul org...smpai2 je kat sane, terus blanje hubby makan asian dishes at Old Asia...mcm biasa la,mkn nasi dgn lauk yg byk...hehe...lepas tu kami search for surau utk solat dulu...then,bermula la misi mencari...

Masuk Nike,tak jumpe yg diidamkan...pastu masuk Adidas kat sebelah tu,baru la ade sinar2 harapan nak jumpe yg best...hehe...at last, hubby pilih Adidas Predator...hubby mmg nak cari warna putih sebab dia suke boot warna putih...:-)...pastu my eyes were caught by a pair of boot beside Adidas Predator that hubby's bought...it's grey in color...lain daripada yg lain..and bile amik,nmpkla kat atas boot tu ade tulis Leo Messi...huh,patutla nmpk grand jer...hehe...hargenye pun amatla grand jugak nak mencecah rm800...hehe...

Birthday pressie for hubby...Adidas Predator...:-)...

Lepas beli tu, kami pun masuk ke kedai yg combine jual barang2 Seed, Padini, Vincci, etc...ade sale 50%...hehe...hubby pun beli la baju and seluar utk pakaian pegi keje...saye tak beli ape2...takde yg berkenan di mata...lepas tu masuk kedai kasut Lewre...saye nak cari kasut...tp tak jumpe yg berkenan di mata jugak...so lepas tu kami pun balikla ke rumah...saye TAK beli ape2 k...i repeat, TAK BELI ape2...hehe...but i'm happy dpt belikan hadiah utk hubby...:-)...

Ok, itu saje la cerita sepanjang hari 21 Mac 2009...mlm tu kami melepak saje di rumah tgk AF7...hehe...Happy 25th Birthday hubby...

Salam...I do not really have much time rite now...I really wanted to update about June's wedding since yesterday...I've got lotsa things to do today...but only now i can relax for about 2 hours...hehe...so there are plenty times for me to update about the wedding here...

I was so happy that I can witnessed the solemnization of June and her hubby, Firdaus...I was the maid of honor during the solemnization while Siti was the 'pengapit' during the reception...hehe...Zuhair was the 'pengapit' lelaki while Syafik was the inofficial photographer...

The bride and groom wore 4 persalinan...aiyok...sgt penat tau...huhuh....but June looked really sweet on that day...:-)...

Banyak gambar still dekat kamera Syafik...so just gambar June before the solemnization je yg ade dekat I...Byk kisahnye knape kami tak dpt nak amik gmbr gune camera sendiri...huhuhu...

Anyway, cantiknye June mase akad nikah ni...Mase bersanding, she wore a maroon songket...really gorgeous!!!!...Siti and me were smiling all the way during the ceremony...so excited and happy to see our bestfriends got married to each other...heheh...later i'll upload the pics of June wearing maroon songket, white gown and gold lace dress...:-)...

Pengantin baru & pengantin tak berapa nak baru....:p...

Orang tua2 ckp,kalau kite berdoa waktu majlis akad nikah, doa kita akan dimakbulkan oleh Allah S.W.T...so saye berdoa agar perkahwinan mereka akan kekal hingga ke akhirnya...saye juge berdoa agar perkahwinan saye dan suami kekal sampai syurga...:-)...

To be honest, my eyes were filled with tears when Firdaus accepting the nikah...touching!!!...sob sob...itulah segala-galanya utk both of them...akhirnya disatukan juga dengan izin Yang Maha Kuasa...teringat dekat diri sendiri bernikah 3 bulan lepas...berdebar2 smpai blurrr...huhuh...

Hello...tomorrow i'll be going to Rantau Panjang for my friend's wedding..I'll go with Siti...Both the bride and groom to be were my classmates in UPM...at last they are going to tie the knot after being together for about 4 years i guess...may Allah bless both Firdaus and Jun...

So tomorrow our flight will be at 7.45 a.m....so early in the morning...huhuh...hubby will send us to LCCT...Our flight back to KL will be at 9 p.m. on Saturday...this is the first time hubby and me will not be travelling together since we got married...hehe...Hubby has planned to meet his friend on Friday...while I'll spend my time with my friends in Kelantan..haven't meet them for a long time since I got married...huhuh...

My mom told me that Kelantanese wedding is grand...so I can't wait to witness it by my own eyes...:-)...hehe...Jun told me that she will wear 5 dresses!!!..wow...for this time being,i just can imagine how grand the wedding ceremony will be...tak sabarnye...:-D...

Salam...this is a news taken from Utusan Malaysia (7th of March 2009)...The innovation in my master's project (Fruits Grater and Peeler) has been awarded The Very Best Award...Praise be to Allah...:-)...

SERDANG 6 Mac – Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) merangkul tiga daripada empat anugerah utama pada Ekspo Teknologi Malaysia (MTE) 2009 yang berlangsung di Pusat Dagangan Dunia Putra (PWTC) baru-baru ini.

Naib Canselor UPM, Profesor Datuk Dr. Nik Mustapha R. Abdullah berkata, anugerah tersebut adalah Best of The Best Award, The Very Best Award dan Women Innovator of The Year.

Menurutnya, pameran tiga hari bermula 19 hingga 21 Februari lalu turut menganugerahkan UPM dengan enam pingat emas, sembilan perak dan 15 gangsa.

‘‘Ketiga-tiga anugerah tersebut semuanya dimonopoli oleh penyelidik wanita dari UPM.

‘‘Untuk Best of The Best Award diterima oleh Prof. Madya Dr. Sabira Khatun dari Fakulti Kejuruteraan UPM melalui reka cipta alatan yang digunakan sebagai infrastruktur rangkaian tanpa wayar yang lebih selamat,’’ katanya pada sidang akhbar di sini hari ini.

Katanya, Dr. Siti Mazlina Mustapa Kamal dari fakulti yang sama telah memperoleh anugerah The Very Best Award dengan hasil ciptaannya iaitu pemarut dan pengupas buah-buahan serta sayur-sayuran.

Tambahnya, anugerah Women Innovator of The Year diperoleh Prof. Madya Dr. Paridah Md. Tahir dari Institut Perhutanan Tropika dan Produk Hutan UPM melalui penciptaan mesin pemampat beroda yang dihasilkan daripada batang kelapa sawit.

Katanya, kejayaan mereka merangkul ketiga-tiga hadiah utama tersebut menunjukkan para penyelidik wanita UPM telah menunjukkan prestasi yang membanggakan.

‘‘Wanita sangat tekun bila melakukan penyelidikan. Kejayaan ini juga menunjukkan peranan mereka dalam bidang penyelidikan semakin menonjol,’’ katanya.

Nik Mustapha berkata, pada penganjuran kali ini Kementerian Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi selaku pengajur telah mempertandingkan empat anugerah utama selain pingat emas, perak dan gangsa.

Sebanyak 460 projek penyelidikan dipertandingkan dan UPM menghantar 31 projek penyelidikan berasaskan pertanian, sains kesihatan, bioteknologi, kejuruteraan komputer, senibina dan pendidikan.

‘‘Pameran ini disertai 55 organisasi yang sebahagian besarnya merupakan institusi pengajian tinggi awam dan swasta, institut penyelidikan dan sekolah-sekolah sains seluruh negara,’’ katanya.

The same news has also been reported in Buletin 1.30 on 8th of March...Although the press only highlighted my supervisor as the inventor, but I don't mind...I'm still happy since this project has gone this far...2 years ago, I've cracked my head until midnight to finish up the design ideas...Alhamdulillah,today the machine has been successfully developed and won 3 awards...

My main objective now is to complete my Masters studies...May Allah bless me...Aminn...:-)...

Assalamualaikum...

This entry is just a medium for me to relax my mind after focusing on my journal writing for the last 4 hours...in fact yesterday i've spent about 2 hours on this paper...

This is the lifestyle of the academicians cum researcher in a well-known public university such as UPM...being in the list as a Research University (RU) requires all the academic staffs to be productive in their research area...As a young academician, i need to start adapting myself to this hectic lifestyle since I'll become a lecturer insyaAllah in 3 or 4 years time from now after completing my doctorate studies...

Being a full-fledged academician is one of my dream...The satisfaction is undescribable...but the total happiness comes from Allah S.W.T...The Most Gracious,The Most Merciful...may Allah shows me the right way to achieve my dream...La haulawala quwataillabillah...

May Allah bless us all in whatever we do...amin...believe that happiness will come after hardship by Allah's leave...

Hello...semalam lepas kerja, mintak hubby tolong bawak pegi bangi jap...nak pegi 'melawat' butik Hajaba...nak tengok2 tudung...sebab ade tudung baru dah sampai...so dalam kul5.30 tu kami bertolak dari UPM and sampai sane nak dekat pukul 6...bile sampai sane, kami tgk mmg bykla tudung baru sampai...tujuan dtg Hajaba sebab nak belikan tudung utk org lain..bukan utk diri sendiri...tapi takde sgt tudung yg berkenan di hati...except for the new design yg baru sampai...mule2 ingatkan nak amikla satu for me...tapi after discuss dgn hubby,akhirnye i beli jugak design baru tu...but not for me...utk org lain...kirenye nak bagi hadiah kat org lain la ni...hehe...lepas tu rase sedih jugak sebab takde satu utk diri sendiri...finally,cari punye cari,jumpe la satu tudung tu...so dptla sehelai...:-)...hubby kate, nak bandingkan dengan semua tudung kat Hajaba tu,tudung yg i tgh pakai lagi cantik...hehe...credit tu my dearest Ninie...:-D..

So,hasil belian tudung adalah 4 helai...1 for my supervisor...2 for other people...and 1 for me..:-D...

Ok...after grabbing a few tudungs from Hajaba,we headed home to have dinner and to perform maghrib's prayer...at 8 p.m., we headed to MidValley Megamall pulak....because hubby wanted to buy some books at MPH...and i also wanted to buy something for myself...PLUS,hubby nak belanja tgk wayang!!!...after 2 months married, last nite was the first time we watched movie together...sebab terlalu busy...weekend pulak takde je kat umah...so,hari bekerja je la yg tinggal....kami nak tengok cerita Upin & Ipin...hehehehe....so bile sampai,kami beli tiket dulu,pastu pegi ke MPH...

Dah 4 bulan tak dtg MPH Mid Valley...huhu...

Mase hubby tgh pilih2 buku, i 'mintak izin' jap nak gi Metrojaya...nak beli barang...hehe...pegi Metrojaya sebab nak pegi Benefit Cosmetics counter...comel je kaunter Benefit yg warna pink tuh...sebenarnye this is the first time nak beli barang kat Benefit...sebelum dtg ni,i dah buat research sikit pasal makeup base...I nak cari makeup base yg sesuai utk kulit i yg agak oily sikit nih...so,menurut kajian,Benefit ada satu produk yg sesuai utk kulit berminyak...mule2 berminat nak beli Strode Cream from MAC..tapi tak jadi...hehe...so akhirnye,beli dr.feelgood from Benefit...It is blended with Vitamin C to help smoothen away the fine lines and at the same time leaving skin feeling and looking more silky, flawless and matte to the touch..hehe...harap2 sesuai la produk ni...:-)...

Btw, MAC ade buat party smlm kat Concourse area..mmg happening la..sempena nak lancarkan koleksi baru MAC HelloKitty...ramai gile org...semua dressed-up in black...hehe...i pun pakai black...tapi sebab ramai sgt org,malas lak nak join...semalam MAC anta sms jugak kat phone utk inform pasal bende nih...tapi nak masuk kedai MAC pun ramai....so batalkan je niat...tapi sempat la amik gambar lepas org semua dah balik...:-)...

Hehe...waktu amik gambar ni dah pukul 10 mlm.sebab tu org takde...tapi kami ade lagi sebab nak tgk wayang pukul 11.15 p.m...

So,lepas beli makanan utk dimakan (lapar tetibe), masukla wayang pukul 11.15...pukul 1,wayang pun abis and terus balik rumah...rase seronok sgt...dah lame tak tgk wayang...ade la 4 bulan termasuk 2 bulan sebelum kawin...mak i tak kasi keluar selalu time nak dekat2 kawin dulu sebab nanti tak manis...hehe...tapi bile dah kawin lagi seronok keluar,balikla lambat mane pun tak kesah sebab dah suami isteri..pastu terus balik umah sendiri jer...jadi kesimpulannye,perkahwinan ni adalah sesuatu yg indah and membawa keberkatan...:-)....

Ok,till then...nak pi masak sikit for lunch...:-)...seronok betul hidup org yg tgh study leave ni...hehe...tata...

Cherating...The Story...

Hello all...i'm back from Cherating...not much to tell...my hubby attended a writing course and i did my writing too...journal writing...baru half je...hehe...at the same time,i've checked a thesis draft of undergraduate final year project...memberangsangkan jugak diriku ini berkerja...department lain punye course,i pulak yg berjaye buat keje...

The first day we arrived there, we was so shocked to see the renovation process carried out at the lobby area...gosh...really demotivated at first...then i asked whether the hotel has spa treatment there,but the manager told me this hotel was under renovation and the spa was closed...huhuhuhu...tak tercapai impian nak ke spa...but maybe this is a good sign for me to finish up my writing without any distractions...hehe...btw, the sea view was superb!!!

Me on the day of arrival...

We didn't have much activities on the 1st day...hubby went out for swimming with his colleagues and I stayed in my room watching TV...by 6 p.m., i was so starving...there was no food in the room...try to find the hotel menu but was unable to find it..huhu...so i just waited patiently for hubby to come back...at 7.30 p.m., hubby finished his activity and both of us got ready to have our dinner together with other colleagues at 8.30 p.m...the dinner was great...we ate at 'kedai ikan bakar'...basically it's a seafood restaurant...kami makan dengan semangatnye ikan siakap,udang dan sotong...yumyum...at 10 p.m. they had a briefing and i waited for my hubby at the lobby area while surfing the internet...I have met a new friend there...her name is Kak Az...she is Dr.Tuah's wife...and she just got back from liverpool...we had a nice chat that evening about life and family planning...hehe...Then, after all the staffs of the Dept.of Mechanical Eng. finished their briefing session, we all went to our room and SLEEP la...penat gile travel for 4 hours...

On the 2nd day,we had our breakfast at 7.15 a.m...Then hubby went to the seminar room and I did my own work at the resort's cafe...at first i tried to eat all the foods available there...but after i felt like getting 'gemoks', then i stopped...hehe...the surrounding was so peaceful that i can concentrate on my writing...i started to write from the design construction part...extracted from my thesis...but it was not as easy as it sounds...i have changed the structure of the word so it will look different from my thesis...saje2 je seronok nak merumitkan kerja yg senang..hehe...

At 12.30 p.m., all of us had our lunch at the same cafe...after filling our stomach with lotsa delicious foods, me and hubby strolled along the beach...aziz (hubby's friend) was with us too...hehe...around 1 p.m.,we got back to our room and tido...hehe...

At 8.30 p.m, all of us had our special dinner together near the beach...the atmosphere was so good...and the foods were delicious too...:-)...

On the 3rd day, after having my breakfast, i continued to do my work...i decided to read the thesis draft of an undergraduate student...i love the environment at the cafe...maybe because i love the table runner...very english looking...hehe...it made my brain works twice more effective than it used to be...hehe...i'm feeling like buying one...a table runner with checked patterns might suits our dining table at home..hehe...(^_^)v...

So comfy...hehe...

Btw...the orange colour thing on the table is my 'bekal makanan'...hehe..i bought it from one of my colleague...brand: Tupperware...hehe...really cute...it comes together with 2 food containers and also a fork and a spoon...and all are in orange colour...heheheh....i have put some foods inside the containers so that i'll have something to eat during our journey back to KL...hehe...

Ok...we headed to KL at 1 p.m...and arrived safely at 5.30 p.m...alhamdulillah...this was a really enjoyable moment..i wish there will be other occasions like this in the future...

Tata Vista & Hola Cherating...

Hello...i've formatted my laptop yesterday & feeling so happy now...i used windows vista before & now i'm glad that i've changed to XP...i faced so many problems with vista...huhu...the wireless, internet explorer and so on and so forth...huh!..

My laptop operates faster now...btw,it has intel core 2 duo processor which contributes to the fastness of its operation...hihih...really love this new condition...adios vista...:p...

Today I'm going to Cherating with my hubby...his department will be having 'Bengkel Penulisan' there...and I'm sooo happy that i can follow him...i can rest and relax my mind there...and maybe will find the peace that I'm searching now to write journal...hehe...and also to correct fyp students' thesis..huhuh...a minute i'm a writer, a minute later i'm a proofreader...ngehngeh...

Not to forget, i'll do some 'research' on the SPA TREATMENT there so that i can make some comparison on the SPA services across Malaysia....:p.....i consider this as a research too..hehe...since i love beauty and i feel happy to see women appreciate their beauties...(^_^)....
So Impiana Spa Cherating, here I come!!!!...hehe...

OK...i need to start packing since I have about ONE hour before we depart for Cherating (11 am)..now is 9.59 am...hehe...before hubby starts to get mad, it's better for me to pen off now...Bye bye...

MTE 2009...The Story...

Assalamualaikum...hari ni baru sempat nak update blog...last week i was so busy...on 19th-21th February, i participated in Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE) at PWTC...my product is the cutest-ever-on-earth fruits grater and peeler...hehehe...this apparatus is from my masters project...

Actually this product is not the only research in this masters study...the design of fruits grater and peeler is described in Chapter 3...while Chapter 4 & 5 describe other things...i chose to develop separate working chapters because this study also comprises the optimization study on enzymatic clarification of fruit juice (Chapter 4)...Chapter 5 describes the development of process flow sheet of pitaya juice processing...it was quite difficult for me to develop those chapters at first...but Alhamdulillah berjaya juga siapkn...my supervisors said that 'If u further extend either chapter 3 or 4,dah bole dpt master...ini dah mcm nak PhD dah ni'...hahah...ramai jugak yg kasi cadangan suruh sambung lg projek ni utk PhD...tapi....rasenye nak korek ilmu dlm bidang lain pulak kot...but still focusing on food...harap2 impian nak sambung blaja lagi tercapai...aminnn....

Ok...back to MTE story...hari pertama adalah judging day utk clusters categories and also for gold,silver and bronze winners..time ni my supervisor ade skali utk same2 bagi penerangan...kami melalui proses penghakiman dengan jayenye...hehe....

Hari ke 2 adalah judging utk special award...mase ni my sv xdpt dtg...so i kene explain sendiri my product...slalunye time special award judging, kite xtau siape hakim tu...kadang2 diorg dtg mcm pelawat biase je...i smpai kat PWTC pukul 10 pagi...pastu pukul 12 dah cabut balik UPM...sbb rushing nak balik umah...time tu ade beberape org je dtg...tp semua nmpk mcm pelawat biase...so kami pun ingat xde harapan la nak menang special award...so dpt ape2 medal pun xpela...hehe...

Petang tu, kami staff KPM dah ke Royale Bintang Seremban sebab ade Bengkel Penulisan...waktu mlm tu majlis anugerah...so mmg tak dtg majlis anugerah tu...mintak kawan tolong msg bile dah dpt keputusan....

Punye la berdebar2...then dlm pukul 9.30 mlm mcm tu, my friend msg....Alhamdulillah, we (my supervisor and me) won GOLD medal in the competition...and the most surprising moment was when we were told that we've won The Very Best Award....syukur sgt2...xsangke it will go this far...tp ramai yg rase this innovation can go far...byk lecturer2 electrical and rekabentuk nak join skali in further improvement of this machine...nak peel 10 bijik terus...hihih...harap2 berjaya la....together we gain knowledge...:-)...InsyaAllah...Bile ingat2 balik,baru la dpt recall ade sorang pelawat dari Arab Saudi tanye byk sgt soalan mase special award judging...byk sgt tanye psl patent and mcm2...i pun jwbla setiap soalan dgn seikhlas hati....and nmpk dia sgt berminat...tp xsangke la kalau dia tu hakim...sbb dia sgtla berlagak biase...tapi bile dpt special award, baru la tersenyum sendiri...:-)...

Btw...UPM brought back 6 gold medals...3 special awards (Best of The Best Award, The Very Best Award & Woman Invention Award)...and penyelidik UPM yg lain bawak balik pingat perak dan gangsa...alhamdulillah...tahun ni rezeki UPM...tahun depan kene maintain and improve kan research supaya dpt terus berjaya as a reputable RU...aminnnn....

Hehe...

Ok...dah habis ceritera kali ni....Jumaat smpai Ahad ikut my hubby pegi Bengkel Penulisan department dia kat Cherating...sronoknyeeee!!!...hehe....Ok...till then...Wassalam...

I'm so happy now because I've submitted my thesis for examination yesterday (16th FEBRUARY 2009)...yay!!!...i'm just waiting for the 'V' day now....VIVA VOCE....:-).....dijangka bulan april kot...so sementara ni, bole relax dulu...dapatla abiskan baca buku2 cerita yg tertangguh sebelum ni...hehe...

Skrg ni ade ade tugas lain jugak dah menanti...Khamis ni pi Malaysia Technology Expo kat PWTC...ade pertandingan kat sane...pastu weekend ni insyaAllah pi Bengkel Penulisan kat Hotel Royale Bintang...best woo hotel tu...4 or 5 stars kot...hehe...sronoknye...dptla ber'honeymoon' skali lg dgn hubby....:p....tapi kene present paper ye di sane...takpe,i 'll bring my thesis je kat situ and discuss with other academicians...

Ok...gotta go...petang ni nak masuk office jap and show my supervisor the poster and brochure that I've made for the MTE....ni nak tunjuk gambar muke ceria di pagi hari lepas hantar tesis semalam....di bawah sinaran matahari pagi kat entrance School of Graduate Studies UPM...hehehe....and gambar malam sebelum anta tesis....saje melepaskn kegilaan berposing kat umah...hubby terpakse la layankan aje & amikkan gambar....hahaha....

Semalam, kami hantar my sis, 'Aisya ke KLIA...dia dah nak balik Aussie...flight pukul 9.45 p.m. waktu Malaysia...and alhamdulillah dia dah selamat sampai ke Tullamarine Airport (Melbourne) jam 5.45 a.m. waktu Malaysia atau 7.45 a.m. waktu melben...

Mak mesti rindu sgt kat Ecah...lepas ni dah sunyi la kat umah tu...dah xde lg org nak kejut2 semua org bangun solat subuh dgn bersemangatnye...dah xnmpk la beg besar gile kaler MERAH yg mendominasi kawasan kat dlm bilik mak tu...huhu...and for me, rase rindu la setiap kali tgk the 2nd bedroom kat umah ni (sbb aritu mase praktikal,ecah tumpang umah gue)...huhu...

Sempat amik gmbr jap..

Sem baru ni dia dah masuk tahun 3...sekejap je mase berlalu....dari hari kami hantar dia 2 tahun lepas mase mule2 nak ke Aussie dulu...:-)....belajar rajin2 yer...nanti dah abis blaja,bole keje as pharmacist kat Farmasi Hospital Serdang (tempat Ecah buat mini practical training aritu)...seronok sikit dekat2 kan...hehe....

We'll miss u sis...jumpe lg nanti insyaAllah...:-)...

Hari sabtu ni, 14 february, my sister 'Aisya will be going back to Melbourne, Australia..dah lame dia cuti (3 bulan), skrg dah tiba mase nak buka sem kat Monash University (Pharmacy Campus, Melbourne)...nanti nak kumpul duit nak pi Aussie...hehe...

Hari ahad lepas bawak adik2 pi KlCC berjalan and bershopping...I'm going to miss this moment bile dia dah balik sane nanti...huhu...kene tunggu end of this year baru dpt jumpe balik...tu pun kalau dia balik and kalau i'm still here in Malaysia...hehe...

Hola....petang ni i'm quite free...pagi td dah gi meeting utk pertandingan Malaysian Technology Expo...balik je from the meeting, terus gi jumpe dr.siti aslina from Chemical Eng. department nak pi tgk kain crepe terbaru dia bawak...dia dah call dr last week...tp arini baru sempat dtg...kain2 tu semua cantik...*sbb harga dia pun cantik*...ngehngeh....dah ade berkenan kat satu kaler tu...tp tak amik lg...sebab nak pikir dulu...repayment period bole 3 kali...:p....

Pas jumpe dia, i went to my own department at level 3 to rest...tibe2 terasa nak buat something yg dah lame xbuat...iaitu bershopping time solat jumaat...so i called my hubby and asked him to drop me at bangi because i wanted to go to Hajaba boutique...nak tgk2 tudung...then hubby bole smyg kat masjid bangi...mule2 xjumpe kedai tu...pastu i asked hubby to drop me kat depan area hospital an-nur tu and i will find the kedai by myself...cari2 tak jumpe...last2 pegi kat Serenity Spa (tmpt slalu i buat spa tu) & asked the staff...btw,hajaba & serenity spa are under the same management, Leesa formula...so the staff told me the direction...rupenye kat blok lain kedai hajaba tuh...dah ke arah kompleks pkns...but aku xkesah je jalan kaki...janji dpt jumpe kedai tuh...heheheh....so i walked about 5-10 minutes to the seberang jalan shop lot tu with my heels & baju kurung...*mcm xcaye je aku sanggup*...hehe...last2 masukla pintu kedai hajaba...

masuk2 je kat situ,terus tanye kat mane tmpt tudung...rupenye kat 1st floor...tangga dia punye la curam & berpusing2 nak naik...tp aku redah jek...hehe....sampai je kat atas,terus jumpe tudung...btw,tudung yg Ekin (Mawi's wife) pakai tu, is hajaba's la...hehe...tgk byk tudung cantik...so i beli la beberapa utk 'buah tangan' bawak balik umah...hehehe....

time dlm hajaba tuh,punye la ramai wanita2 yg keluar masuk...dari awal dtg, smpai la aku dah bayar, still ade lg yg dtg...laku sungguh...for me, it's a gud thing...wlpn kite menutup aurat, tp fashion tetap fashion...maybe by the emerging of this new fashion for scarf, muslim women will get interested to wear hijab...insyaAllah....skrg tudung pun dah cantik2...dulu2 kan asik fesyen tudung bawal jer...hehehe...

so tu je la setakat ni...ari sabtu ni nak bawak adik2 pi KLCC beli buku kat Kinokuniya...syoknyeee...dah lame xpi sane...semenjak busy giler ni,xde mase nak jln2...hubby pun bz ajer...huhu...esok nak pi meeting kat dewan senat...hujung bulan ni masuk Pameran Malaysia Technology Expo kat PWTC...wlpn penat,kene pegi jugakla sebab UPM dah pilih...xpela...demi karier...kena berkorbanla...hehe...:-D....

Hello...after a few days x update blog,arini baru ade mase...actually i was so bz with my masters thesis...tiap2 mlm memerah otak nak dapatkan idea nak lengkapkan lg tesis ni...for a few days la tido lmbt smpai 3 pagi...normally my ideas akan mencurah2 di malam hari....siang ni kurang effective la...so siang ni byk rehat and buat keje yg simple2 jer...tp kalau keje yg memerlukan focus yg tinggi,i buat mlm2...hehe...pastu bile siang kene bangun awal nak buat keje2 lain pulak including this tesis jugak...rajin sungguh rasenye...:p..

kat rumah ni selesa la nak buat keje sebab hubby dah ready kan tempat utk i study..:-D..love my hubby so much...selesa la meja study yg dia bawak balik ni..bole letak tray utk documents..ade space utk letak laptop and utk tulis2..also has space to put my fav hot chocolate drink kat tepi ni..just an ideal table for me..xperlu besar2sgt...:-)...

i plan to submit my thesis pertengahan bulan ni...so that cepat sikit bole viva and settle kan masters studies ni...i want to move a step further in my career...rindu nak masuk mengajar balik...this 1 year study leave ni seems too long for me...:p...but i enjoy this study leave sebab bole melepak2 jer...bangun lmbt pun xpe...hehe...lepas dah siap tesis ni nak kene plan utk further studies lak...belum dpt bayangkn kat mane tmpt yang Allah takdirkan for me...tp usaha mesti diteruskan to get an ideal place for me to study...:-)....

petang ni nak masak awal because my hubby's friends will come over and have a dinner here in my place...so dah tanye a few recipes from my mum and my maksu dilla...last sunday pi lunch kat umah maksu dilla kat bukit antarabangsa...and her cooking was superb!!!...org nogori sembilan punye masakan...sedap!!!hubby dah suruh blaja masak MASAK LEMAK CILI PADI pure from nogori sembilan from maksu...hehe...

ok..that's all for now...wanna continue wih my work...will come with new entries later...want to post some stories about my honeymoon too...hehe...

Assalamualaikum...

This is my first entry as I'm a new blogger here...actually this is the first time i'm blogging in my life...hehe...(dah create account dah lame...tp baru start nak tulis2...kuikui)...

Well,for me blogging is interesting (as i enjoYed reading my friends' blogs) but i didn't have much time before...But now,as i've changed my status to MARRIED,i feel glad to start blogging..:-)...(*maybe lebih happy kot life skrg*)...
